FIFA WC 2018 Tournament Bug

Hey everyone,

Trying to make the FIFA World Cup 2018 tournament in CM and I come across this bug after saving. I can no longer open CM16. Does anyone know why this happens?

System.InvalidCastException: Unable to cast object of type 'FifaLibrary.Stage' to type 'FifaLibrary.Group'.

My guess is something wrong with your compdata. Try going back to earlier state (I assume you made backups along the way - otherwise, start doing so).

best way to make tournament is editind dlc files, not with creation master cause can corrupt the data

All this happens as soon as I save the compdata in CM and try to reopen the program.

There are 3 setup stages for the World Cup tournament (990) in the compdata .txt files in the dlc/ folders. How do I renumber this to have only 1 setup stage?

editing first compobj .txt , you have to erase th stages you don´t want then edit activeteams and advancement txt files, I have create a lot of tournament for nt in fifa 14 using dlc files

num subs in benchs? 7?

you want only the world cup tournament in the dlc file? I mean I erase all tournaments ? or you have the dlcs files

Ideally, I want to have both the UEFA EURO 2016 tournaments (Finals = 980 & Finals & qualifiers = 981) and the world cup tournament (990) with 32 teams.

The Tournament crashes when I select it in Tournament Mode.

No, It crashes when I select a team to play in the world cup. Also, not all teams are available to choose in the team select screen for the World Cup tournament. The World Cup tournament is under Denmark in Tournament Mode.
