for me game working on first release but when a istall update its now not working ... so a stand on first release

But the problems stay the same.
Even in the menu it slows down.
New patch does not solve this problem.
Any idea of how to make it work properly?
My system is good enough...

Guys that was just a quick beta I put up yesterday, we will release a proper today with a bunch more edits. Deep Blue this would have to fix your issue as you are the only one who has reported you still have the crash so wait for the update, get a fresh FIFA and use the station tool from the first release instead of the update one.

I think Fidel posted a fix for stuttering and lag a few pages back. (did a quick search, Here.) Try them.

Ea updates are fine, they are stored in the patch.big. Any kind of lags or slow downs can usually be related to the graphics overwhelming your pc.

Its hard for me to know because everyone's pc is different but you may want to change some of your graphic settings as the HD turf could be causing the issue.

The update posted is just an updated version of the station tool. If the first station tool worked for you then you can just use that.

The new update will be new db's which will fix the crash for those who ctd at the Messi screen. Also I forgot to put the spalsh screen in the first release so nobody should have ever seen Messi's face to begin with.

The db data in the first release was fine. What fixed the crash for those who had it was me filling up the db with a bunch of useless data thats not used by the patch. Almost like placeholder files to create stability for those who ctd.

The squad there is old but I don't want to do anything complex so I just changed the names, position, minifaces of the roster. Didn't add any new player ID. It works in tournament but the minifaces I put in CM. Instead, it's showing the faces like in virtual pro. When I open CM, the pics of the faces are there. What should I do? Thanks.

look which id has the player, after that go to the directory:
FIFA 14\Game\data\ui\imgAssets\heads
copy the file: pYOURPLAYERID.dds
copy it to: FIFA 14\Game\fiWCdata\data\ui\imgAssets\heads

Normally it should works!

I have never tried using CM on my main FIFA install path. I have a full backup of the entire FIFA folder with patch installed on my pc and I use CM to access that backup and I make edits from there.

For database its different, I'm not sure how you open the patch in CM unless you use my method but you need to make sure whatever database you edit must end up in the following folder because this is what the patch uses. Just delete the ones in there or back them up and put yours in there and then play.

Database always goes in this path:
CProgram Files (x86)\Origin Games\FIFA 14\Game\fWCd\db

Did you download the patch, they are in there. Maybe you have wipe issues (Game related of course) , we know the replay wipes werent working but the upload will fix that and a ton of other little issues. Should be up within the hour.


Also, thanks to Monkey Dragon making an update to the station tool there will now be an option to switch between 23 man squad db and full 42 man roster db.
