I'm having trouble trying to make these stadiums active in Career Mode's World Cup though, despite they working alright in kick-off matches.

simply import the entries from the World Cup database into the original database, you can easily do that with Excel...

Yes, I did it using DBMaster and it worked, the stadiums are present in the regular game. What is not working for me is when I try to include these stadiums as hosts of the World Cup in Career mode. In this case, I have to link them to the competition in settings.txt, but I'm doing this and nothing happens, the World Cup is still played in generic stadiums.

the World Cup dlc has a different ID than the normal World Cup mode...

in the normal game you have the ID 990
in the world Cup dlc you have the ID 1990

I know. It was not a copy/paste. I exported compobj from the regular compdata folder to know which lines were from career's World Cup (ID 990) and double checked the competition ID here to see if it was still really 990. The lines I posted are all from the World Cup of the regular game, it's the lines 14 through 69 of the regular compobj. I really believe the txt is correct, I only don't know if I'm missing something else or if I should have done anything else in the DB besides copying the stadiums information.

What I don't get is that it's not even random generic stadiums in the World Cup. It seems that every single match is assigned either to Stadion Hanguk or Stade Municipal (yeah, a FIFA World Cup with half of its games in Stade Municipal, oh dear).

But neither of these stadiums are assigned in settings.txt. There's actually no assignment at all for Hanguk in any competition. And Stade Municipal is only for the finals of Austrian and Polish cups. It's weird, looks like it's hard coded. I couldn't find any clue at the database either.

FOUND IT!

There's another file called internationals.txt, with (totally stupid) stadium assignments for the World Cup and the Euro. I just changed the IDs of the stadiums there and voilá, it worked! Wee

I played a few matches online with world cup dlc and indeed, the gameplay feels somehow different.
I do not know why but all my matches, arround 15 ended with scores like 7-5, 6-4, 5-5, anyway, not less than 6 goals per match.
It's like an avalanche of ocasions from end to end.

I totally agree with U,I feel so disappointed about FIFA18 which doesn't include the qualification mode!

the other NTs from FIFA 18 (no new ones), kick Speed Test off or online in FUT. Guess an online mode outside FUT could be done, it's my turn down for this DLC.
