FIFA06 - Hands on!!!

I know I haven't posted in this forum for about a year, but I'm happy to say that I have FIFA06 installed in my PC for almost a week now!!!!

So,if you want to know anything about the game (see some specific screenshots, know some stats etc.), just let me know...

well...some say that the game isn't ready yet...as it needs some final updates before it's ready and set...i doubt that u have the game already...and if u really had it would u post only that template?come on....get real...no one will trully believe u...i think...

I may be wrong and he isnt the one i thought.Oh and those who say the game isnt finished yet they r wrong,I saw a full presentation of it(all the options etc-not a demo)about a month ago in a NBC-EUROPE programe that is called GIGA-DE.Unfortunately for me its a german speaking programme...

I don't think he's a journalist or anything & Olorin is just Gandalf's real name. I'm pretty doubtful of his claims but Ikaros delivers with the goods(i.e a a review, new screenies, summary of game features etc) then good for him

You're not getting the point, if he really have the game it's illegal to post stuff like these... people that receive final versions or beta or alpha are only allowed to review it and to post screens of the game running, they can't show things like these... and i doubt he can even open the game files cause every year EA changes the way they open... so i think we are facing some kind of... :boohoo: FAKE FAKE FAKE FAKE

In the greek pc master magazine is a guy who does the reviews of all the football and basketball games,this guy signs with the nickname OLORIN(along with his real name) he also(the journalist) has mentioned many times in his reviews that supports Panionios -all the greeks who read pcmaster and are forum members can confirm all these.But enough of all this stuff,I m sure OLORIN will give us the prooves that he isnt lying(and please do it olorin as soon as possible ,cos i would also look like a fool )

I must repeat that the problem isn't on being fake or not, it's on the fact that he's not allowed to show this, EA probably will sue him and not send him versions of FIFA anymore, he is breaking the rules, i could also speak of the game, i've worked on the database but i'm under a contract that not allows me to talk so i respect that...

Maybe, but this isnt our problem and if he is willing to post screens let him do it,im sure he knows better if he gonna have trouble with EA or not.And btw he is 100% real,i just checked his web page on his profile and even has his real name there...And he writes for the biggest computer magazine in greece for some years now..he is enough experienced not to do mistakes like the ones you think he may do.-

Exactly as FCP said.....EA might even haul his ass into court if it was they could Mate.....even i could put that link as my homepage & no 1 would be wiser. Either way if he is for real then good for us but he's really in trouble. Most likely, I think we wont be hearing from him in these parts again..............

Ok, I was sure that I was going to be doubted, but I didn't expect all those posts... Can't a man even have a decent sleep? (come on people, I have much better things to do in my life than just trying to gain some attraction in a forum I haven't attended for almost a whole year...)

1) player13, got me, even before I had the chance to say who I am (actually, that's good, this means we have really faithful readers!!!). Anyway, to be perfectly honest, I hadn't thought about me or my magazine having legal problems with EA... After all, what would happen if I was a journalist who worked in an on-line mag??? Then the review (along with the photos) would be up for everyone to see in a couple of days... Futhermore, player13 said that he watched a video presentation on NBC. I don't think that a photo or two would do EA so much harm... I just read the full message in the contract they sent us and it doesn't say anywhere that I wouldn't be able to post any screnshots before the magazine comes out... Anyway, to be 100% sure I'm going to check it with the guys in the mag and if they say it's ok, than our friend Lucho will see the Urugay NT squad...

2) I just posted the texture, because apart from a journalist, I also happen to be a well known FIFA patchmaker for more than 5 years. So, I just wanted to share it with my fellow patchmakers, so that I could help them with their work... I don't know if this can be considered as a "game file"... If you think there's a problem with that, I'll remove it from my post, because I don't think I want to lose my job...

3) The graphic files can be opened exactly like the ones in FIFA 2005 (bigGUI, EAGE etc.). Also, the DB files are completely compatible with UniDB! However, I just opened them, I haven't tried to edit them, yet, so stay tuned...
