That's the Jor1980 CFF plug-in for 3D Studio that comes with Cyber Faces installation package.
photofit is interesting for acquiring the 3d model, but you can only see the resemblence if you have a texture and you choose custom texture in the facegen menu. I haven't tested the conversion part though. I gotta check that out.
Well, for texture edition, you can use the clasic ways (Photoshop, etc), and then load the texture with Change texture option. I really prefer that couse with photofit, teeth are not created.
Well, my first face generated with the method.
Ecuatorian striker Christian "Chucho" Benítez
great face, man. and many many thanks for coming up with this method and for sharing with us
du_oro10 many thanks for sharing this with us all, hopefully we'll soon have 10 000 000 facemakers!
that first face turned out great by the way
I got a question: What version of Windows are you using? is it 32 bit? reason I ask this is cause I could never get cyberfaces converter to work on windows 7 64 bit... Whenever I try to convert CFF to Rx3, the program throws an exception.
Texture editor works just fine though.
yes I use win7 64bits, and for Cyber Face I execute it as administrator, if you are using Hairs Editor you must set your PC date to before april 2011 (i dunno why but it works)
I use FaceGen Modeller 3.4 and Customizer 1.3
thx,but it isn't working too...
Liv_Tyler,oh,now it's working,thank you)
Well I'm trying Face Gen 3.5 to test the models and see how it works on it, and I would like to ask to moderators where to publish faces generated with this protocol (couse it works 100% in FIFA11 and with bugs in FIFA12)
Did you have to change any files? (any DLL or so) I've got both SlimDX frameworks (2.0 and 4.0) but I could never get cyber faces to work here. The only way for me to use it is boot into my 32 Bit Windows Vista installed on another HD here.
Anyway, I did a bit of playing with photofit and tried to make a face lol hwat you guys think?
It is a very good job!!
I know you must play a lot whit Photofit. For that reason Im working in match Photofit. I almost done jeje
Still fooling around with those ideas I'm aiming to make something similar to one of the best strikers of all time: Romário
using FaceGen+editing in 3D soft can produce very similar faces)
and can someone make tutorial for Blender?
I really think is easy in 3D Studio, but if you prefer, you can search in youtube for "Morphing" with blender
could anyone with a working cyber faces converter (in 64 bit win 7) share the respective files? I'd really appreciate the gesture thx in advance
nevermind, I got it. Tuurns out it really needed the old (june 2010 slimdx 2.0) should work with the newer versions as well, but well.
