I'm back trying to get into the Fifa gaming world after a few years away.

I bought 17 and then a new GPU card but still can't get it to run. (My specs below.)

1 - the game stutters and stalls after about 20 minutes and ALWAYS stops and stutters in a critical situation such as a breakaway.
2 - I get randomly 'trapped' 'in practice mode despite selection my controller at startup.
3 - I cannot reach EA for help despite many tries. They are criminals.

If anyone can help me with 1 or 2 and has a bloody email link to EA technical support I would greatly appreciate it.

I think your CPU is way too underpowered. Bercause with 1050Ti, you should do pretty good in FiFA games.

I agree. I think your CPU is the "bottleneck". You could try to lower the graphics settings and play the game locked at 30FPS, see if that helps. Perhaps even lower the resolution. -OR- ofc upgrade that CPU.

That graphics card coupled with your old budget processor is like super-charging a Yugo, the vehicle is still going to fly apart when you try going from 0-60 in 5 seconds.

1st step: Open the nvidia panel, go to manage 3D settings, locate and load the FIFA exe, and shut off all those settings, switch them from on to off, and from quality to performance. That will buy you a ton of additional framerates.

Thanks guys. Great answers. I'll give it a try but looks like I have to save for a new box to fit my gpu in and keep up with FIFA.
