I hope this turns out to be a good one though. FIFA 07 and UEFA were **** on the xbox when compared with the current-gen versions.

Looks like a good start. However I'm trying to be more restrained because FIFA07 was a huge dissapointment (although I love the Xbox version)

I'm glad EA have at least confirmed the full quota of teams this time though, and yeah the stringing moves together sounds promising.

Time will tell though.

Definately. I'm not anywhere near ready to call it a success yet...but it IS a step in the right direction. They've addressed two of the major downfalls of FIFA 07- the small number of teams and the lack of skill moves- now they need to work out the gameplay issues.

The producer of that version is now the producer of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions (Joe Booth)...:mrpimp:

30 Leagues.

27 of them are more than likely the same ones from Xbox and PS2 which is fantastic.

Who will the other 3 be?

Russian? I hope for this with games in the snow!
Greek?
Turkish?
Hungarian?
Israeli?
Argentinian?
Columbian?

SlowHand

Starting XI
argentinian league is not very likely
AFA ask for a certain amount of money that EA is not willing to pay

besides, it would be like a very good news that AFA signed with EA and we will know

Maybe it'll be the Japanese and Australian leagues or maybe some minor leagues like Scots Div 1,...

I think that the little details are important to make this game good. Like designs on the shoes and the kits.

Well they nailed that perfectly in the X360 FIFA07, they need to make the player likeness better IMO (Of course they need to prioritise the mechanics and gameplay first)

Why is everyone excited over the tricks being back............they were there to begin with. The difference was that they were not just scripted push the right joystick tricks like last gen. I am fully able to do skill moves/tricks in the 360 game by connecting the context based movements together. Then again EA always has connect with the "I'm a dumbass" people out there. So if pushing the right stick makes all you dumbasses happy then EA will bring it back.

What's up MadBoobies? I like the idea of the trick stick but hate the idea that it will be overused and exploited to the level of supercheese by some people. I loof forward to Fifa '08...if it's twice as good and big as CL then I will be as happy as a pig in filth. I hear that the whole EA sports 2008 lineup will be running at 60 fps and that Fifa will have way more animations and you'll be able to do whatever with the players, you will no longer have to wait for the previous animation to finish, it'll be more organic, responsive and spur of the moment:D...So they say;)
