Yes, I've read about it and i have been using it in the games. Its very useful, specially for through balls ;). There are substitution cinematics although they dont show the player running off and a new one on.. just a short clip... Commentary: I think its repetitive especially at half time. They talk about that "homework" stuff in almost every game at half time.. :(

I just got the game yesterday and I must say that this is the best FIFA game so far in terms of gameplay. There are alot of small details that make the game so much better. The gameplay and animations of players when they receive a pass look real not just automatic. Now a player can really run open spaces by sending thru balls. No more of thoses easy long shot goals. The keepers are smarter. I like the way you can change formations right before starting a game, without having to go back to the team management options.

Overall this game rocks and might be just a small preview of fifa2005.

I don't think I'm going to buy it. All I can do is hope that FIFA 2005 will build upon it, because the Euro cup isn't enough to keep me playing until 2005 is released, so it'll be a waste of money for me...

I hope they make the shooting more diverse, it's always rocket shots, hit it as hard as you can, etc. There has to be soft shots that don't come in the form of chipping the ball. This means a much more in-depth shooting power bar.

Well this is weird but I was playing my second qualifying game against slovenia and it was going fine in the first half but when the second half came around a player for slovenia shot the ball right after he crossed midfield but then next time they came down they shot it from that far again. They kept shooting the ball right when they crossed midfield every single possession of the second half.... I hope it was just a one time fluke

And now the last two games it keeps putting Barthez at RB, Gallas at MF, Henry at MF and Makelele at ST. The first time it happened I thought I did something but now I have no clue why this is happening.....

i hope not.... What system do you have it on? And can you sub the goalie and put him on another position like barthez moved? Can you do that manually?

I have it on PS2. And im not sure if you can put the goalie out on the field because I would never do that I just dont know why it did it by itself.

I dont think you can, i remember it said something like "You can only substitute a GK with a GK" or something alone the lines of that:o

yeah, i was just wondering because in 2004 i started a carreer with northampton. It wouldn't let me put my goalie in the game. I had to go through a whole carreer with some **** defender with 5 reflex as goalkeeper. Not that it matters too much though.

having played both the xbox and pc version, i muz say the xbox version's gameplay & feel is much better and smoother. Dusk settings looks better on the xbox with the orange sunlight glow which the pc doesn't have. the scrolling in the pc version is abit rough and player movements not as fluid as the xbox's. and b4 you go sayin my pc sucks, it is a 3.0ghz, 512mb, 9800pro.
the only thing which the pc version is better is on the gfx.
