FIX for those having frame/lag issues...AUTO Set CPU Affinity and Priority

the reason for lag is because the demo is set to high priority....by auto setting it to normal there should be no more lag
with....

you can always ctrl+alt+del
then properties
set priority to ->normal


but this program does it automatically

i didnt download the program but i tried it with "task manager" and it worked, its a huge change

lol, task manager comes with windows xD.
right click on the "task bar" and then click on "Star Task Manager", then find fifa.exe 32 or something similar, right click it and set priority to normal.
do this after u run the game, while in the menu of fifa 11 alt+tab and do it

I've done this. But this time, the cut scenes and replays stops lagging and the game starts lagging.

for those having frame/lag issues...if you have dedicated video card-enable your integrated graphics.In BIOS you should find system share memory size and check the lowest POSSIBLE value.I say possible because the lowest sometimes makes BSOD(blue screen of death) when the windows loads.This solves the problem on my older PC.

knowing your Vram and processor, it should be sufficient to run fifa11. perhaps you should add your ram minimum to 2gb. most of today's games are requiring 2gb least even they stated that 1gb for minimum requirement on README. they are encouraging us to buy their product but they fooled us

I have tried what has been recommended. Upgrading my RAM to 3gb, priority settings from normal to even low, upgrade my Nvidia 9500GT Drivers, but the demo is still unplayable.

Fraps has a reading on the menu at 30, during practice (without stadium environments) at 60, but once the game starts in stadium and gameplay readings fall to a pathetic 1 or 2. Even at lowest settings 800x600, Very Low, MSAA Off and V Sync off. Its totally unplayable.

Now, lets put my questions into perspective:-

1) Is there a need to upgrade or buy a new pc?
2) Would getting a better pc with higher specs really work? I have read on the EA UK forums that even those with absolutely top notch PC's have problems.
3) Has the full version rectified whatever may be the problem? Again, I have read conflicting results in EA UK forums. Without the developers word its really hard to make a decision to go ahead and purchase the full version just to find out that the lag issues are still in hand.

So to sum it up, I wouldn't mind spending abit on a upgrade or even a new PC and the full version but would it really work?

i tried it, the priority was already on 'normal', so i changed it to 'low' and it seems to be the same, maybe i need another pc
