Fixtures & Results for TOURNAMENT mode (PC)

Now is it just me, or is there no way whatsoever to view fixtures and results in Tournament mode (not career/manager mode). I rememeber Fifa2006 was like this but you could at least see the results, if not the match details.

Am I blind or what?

Im just playing a season of SPL to "warm up" to fifa07.. i must say im loving it so far compared to past years... but i want to see results! theres not even a ticker like in career mode

You are right, there is no way to view either fixtures or individual results, only the league table (if there is one, depends on the tournament). This looks like something of an omission by EA, but I seem to remember it was the same for FIFA 06 because that is why I added processing of tournament mode files (which turn out to have the same layout as manager mode) to my analyser utility. I am working on a FIFA 07 version of the utility and hope to have a beta version available shortly but you can see the output from a FIFA 06 tournament on my web site (that is more for other people's benefit, since I know you tried the beta version last year). I will shortly be emailing all those that had a copy of last year's version to see if they are interested in the new one, so you can let me know then if you'd like to try it out

Is this some sort of patch? Ive been nagging EA becasue this issue is in 05,06,07. I like to play with the 8 teams, more if I could.

If there is a patch could you tell me where I can get it

No it isn't a patch, just a stand-alone program that I originally produced for FIFA 2005. I've just realised that the page linked to above has no way of navigating back to the higher levels of my site, but if you read this page it will give you a little more background. The utility has never been out of beta (primarily because the GUI front-end never finished being tested for FIFA 2005 and was never updated for FIFA 06) but if you can cope with running a command line program, or tweaking a batch file to do so, then it is fairly straightforward to use. Since I managed to start on a FIFA 07 version as soon as the game came out this year, I am hoping that this will be the year I'll finally get a version in the public domain, but I am quite happy to expand the list of beta testers if anyone is interested (the current beta will suffice for tournament mode output, it is the manager mode changes that are the focus of my work at the moment).
