Flags not showing in game

Hello,
I've been playing the World Cup 2014 patch from Fifa Infinity (https://downloads.fifa-infinity.com/fifa-14/fifa-world-cup-2014-patch/) and I'm wondering why there aren't any flags showing up in the game.? Neither during qualification (Road to World Cup) nor during the actual world cup.! That's a real bummer for an otherwise superb patch.!
I've checked several teams but so far only Cameroon has their flags waving in the stadium. I can't figure out why!
Flags for all the teams are there in the flag folder in sceneassets so I'm thinking it must be something with the luas. But I replaced all the ones I think could be at fault (assets.lua, crowd.lua, stadium.lua) with the ones from other patches (where flags do show up!) but that doesn't fix it. :( What lua file would usually be responsible?
Or could it have a completely different cause? If others have experienced missing flags in Fifa 14 (with whatever patch or even no patch) can you please tell me what the common causes and fixes are? Thanks a lot!

On another note....why is it that in some stadiums (especially community made ones) flags are showing and in some they don't? Is this something that is set in the stadium rx3 files? Can this be hacked or modified?
I mean I can understand that for certain small stadiums the stadium maker does not want flags in the stadium (low roofs). But with open stadiums with no roofs I don't see any reason for flags not to show up. Unless this has something to with something else?

Ok, I finally figured this out....the flags were not showing for most national teams because for some reason in Fifa 14 flags are disabled for "International". Not all teams, but most. So what I did is change the country ID for all the International Teams. Using CM I went to "League", chose "International" and where it says "country" at the bottom you change it from "International" (ID 75) to "Germany" (ID 21). Since flags are enabled for German club teams this means all the national teams will have flags showing up now too! :D

I even managed to get this to work with the World Cup 2014 patch. On top of changing the IDs in CM you also need to change "nation_ID" in the settings.txt file in the dlc folder. So that all the competitions work and the national teams show up for this. Hmm...I'm actually looking at this file right now. I have nation ID set to 216. I believe this is for "Fifa International" (which is different than just "International"). This is how it works for me (with the WC patch).

I also have the same problem. But I'm reluctant to change the country ids, since then national anthems will not play. There must be a way for the game to recognize flags for non factory NTs

the national anthems do play! At least for me. I've only tested this with the Road to WC 2014 patch though. Plays in friendlies as well as in tournaments. I even added a lot of anthems of the non-factory NTS in the settings menu of Fifa and they play fine too. :) (Provided the sound files are 44 k and not above 96 kbps)

p.s.: Maybe it also has something to do with the specific country ID? Try Germany 21. That way you also get scarves enabled, not just flags!

Yes, I managed to get the Anthems played with Germany's ID. I'm actually playing with FIFA 16, but it had the same bug. The only drag now is that I have to reassign all the tournaments I had created to work with the new Country ID but it looks quite nice to have all the national flags waving along while the anthems are being played.
