Ive had them up for loan for about 3 months each but no one has offered to take them on loan. But a few of my reserves players have.

Try offering them to clubs on loan, works for me.

I think I found a new bug, but it can be the ball was in game for almost 20 minutes: in the 70th minute I clicked ''PSV tactics'' to make a sub and it went to the tactics screen in the 88th minute. This means the ball wouldn't have gone out for like 20 minutes...

no, i've had the same problem without the patch. I've even scored whilst waiting to make a sub, but still not been able to :f***:

Does the patch solve the settling problems?

It just doesn't make sense that every time i bought a Spanish, Dutch or South American player he doesn't adapt to Portuguese way of life... It's just too annoying! :f***:

It just doesn't make sense, i rarely see that happening in real life...

IRL, players usually don't adapt to the football, but in the game they can't adapt to Lisbon!

F*ck! :kader:

PS: I'm really f*cked up because i just got Van Persie and Johan Vonlanthen free, and after 1 game they said they can't adapt to Lisbon, actually, Vonlanthen said it in the pre-season :|

What is the status of this patch, as it does not appear to be on the SI Games site or anywhere else, (I purchased the WWSM version today at Gamestop)?

Thanks.

The WSM patch is ready to be released, but the guys are waiting for a green light from their bosses, which isn't to be expected until after the Christmas holidays.

Some of your fellow countrymen have however tried applying the FM 5.0.2 patch, and that seems to work as well. I say give it a shot, but back up your savegames/tactics/training schedules before you patch ("my documents\sports interactive\" or maybe it's "my documents\SEGA" for WSM). That way you can always do a fresh install if something goes wrong.

The only thing is that it switches the opening screen to 'Football Manager 2005', and replaces the 'Version 5.0' text with a '-1'. That's what happened to me, anyway. Weird, since the executible's name is the same as the UK version. I actually stopped and reinstalled the game when I saw this. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to wait until the WWSM version of the patch is out. My question to any other yanks who have bought WWSM is, has this happened to your game when applying the patch?
