I managed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League group-stage, got drawn in a group with Malmo, Sparta Prague and Arsenal. Before the last match-day I was 2nd behind Arsenal, 3 points from Sparta who played Malmo. I had a crappy GD so I had to get 1 point min. Look how I managed to be 1st in the group (H):



And this guy Eduardo (Eduardo Alves da Silva) is a beast. He's a croatian born in Rio (Brazil), in 1983. You can get him for like 3 and a half mil from the croatian club NK Dinamo. Can naturally play FC, then has accomplished on AML\C. Plus he can use both feet (left foot: very strong; right foot: fairly strong).

Man, now that really is bad luck. Come on, 6 severe injuries in a game and a player on a light one (Pogatetz). Wonder if that's a record...

I've never seen that many before. Mendieta and Pogatetz were subs for injuries.

Wilhelmsson - Concussion - a week
Edu - Strained knee ligaments - 1 to 2 months
Downing - Dead leg - 5 days
Mendieta - Concussion - a week
Fernandes - Groin Strain - 3 weeks
Queudrue - Damaged Elbow - 2 weeks
Pogatetz - Stubbed toe - a week

I always have a month during a season that almost everyone gets injured. Currently, March/April gives me around 10 injuries together...will count next time too.

Carlos (yes, that Carlos) got selected in the UEFA Champions League Dream Team, even though I got eliminated in the 1st Knockout Rnd (H):





Oh and Cisse got the Golden Boot of the Champions League for banging 28 goals in 19 matches.
