No I have not, but I had a Polish player out drinking the night before the match and therefore was unavailable. Crazy stuff is in this game, it just doesn't happen that often.

As you can see, this was the 6th time I had fined him since the beginning of the season. Constantly missed training. I sold him to Barca at the end of the year where he had a great career if I remember right.

Yeah, so I'm enjoying this game with Pro Vercelli. I read about them at another forum. They won the Serie A seven times at the beginning of the twentieth century, but are now playing in the third division. Last season I scraped myself a way into the promotion play-offs and lost in the first round. This season we're playing way better.

I'm particularily pleased with our defense. Only 8 goals conceded in the first half of the season, the least of any team in the league. We're only a little unlucky that Varese is way better than the rest of the competition and is practically winning every match.

Had a great game with them in FM2005 I think. Only get them as far as Serie B, wish I had gotten them further. Good luck, man.

Anyway, we managed to get promotion through the play-offs this time. Serie B, here we come!

Final league table:

I got pretty close at passing Varese for first and getting direct promotion, but we slipped up near the end of the season. Which made me fear, we would continue that bad form into the play-offs. But we did very well, winning all matches in both rounds.

Now it's on to the Serie B. Quite a challenge, I think. My squad definitely needs some serious improvement if we want to stay up next season, that while our financial situation isn't very good. We'll see.

Holy sh!t, I just read about their rich Russian chairman

In just 7 months Chagaev has, remarkably, fired four coaches, removed every local sponsor involved with the club from the previous season and dismissed his entire administrative staff, resulting in Xamax being unable to print any tickets for the opening match of the 2011-12 Swiss Super League campaign.

He also sacked the entire coaching team following the 2-0 defeat to Basel in July, before a widely-reported incident in August when he burst into the dressing room with his bodyguards to berate the players following their performance in the 2-2 home draw with bottom club Lausanne-Sport..

The article writes that Chagaev doesn't speak any of the 4 major Swiss languages so that "batate" must have been quite something.

Haha, that's awesome. I actually have a Vitesse save I never played. Only reason I even chose Vitesse is because they have this Mexican youngster with huge potential that is on loan from Chelsea. But I got tired of trying to play saves with ****ty teams, so I chose Dnipro instead.


I might have to check them out.

I must say after season 2 with Fiorentina. I'm actually one match from winning the treble. Once again season 2 was a even more thriller with 3 teams fighting it out on the last game of the season. (Inter and Juventus) with injuries plaguing me and frankly me wanting to see if I should manage in a different league. (I don't like the 2 non euro transfers per year rule) it's a hassel. Any suggestions? oh yea and tomorrow i'll post the result of the coppa italia final against Napoli. My second treble ever in FM history. I love this squad but I feel like its time for me to manage and help out another club with a fallen history. Here are photos of some very important matches!
