I can't believe no one has mentioned Cristiano Lucarelli yet. He's a striker, plays for Livorno, costs somewhere around £15million but is well worth it. At the moment he has 23 goals in 23 games for me not counting pre-season games when he scored 12 in 5.

Great player, was very useful for me at Odense, Aarhus and the Danish national team. Available on a free too, after 1 season.

This guy is like something between Totti and Robinho (those two in real life), he passes, dribbles, finishes, heads, everything extremely well. Never tied or lost a match with him (including against Brazil, England, France, Holland, Spain & Argentina)
