Footballing Disasters in Spain

So, I'm translating a poem by Simon Armitage for class and it has a lot to do with football. I figured it would be fun. Most of the translating work is finding equivalents for Goodison Park and Spurs and stuff. The difficulty is when the poem mentions Hillsborough. Spain has never had a similar tragedy. I need to find something relatively similar.

So, can anyone think of something? Arnau? Any deaths in Spanish stadiums? Stampedes? Collapses?

So far I've found a few possibilities: what happened on the last matchday at Osasuna; some match between Real Madrid and Colo Colo (shame is it took place there, which doesn't fit with the poem); a day that some kid got stabbed in a stadium. None of them has the impact Hillsborough had. Would be nice to find something more suitable.

Exactly, it needs to be something that was tragic for the fans at the stadium to justify that the characters don't pickpocket anyone.

Hasn't there been any huge moment of bonding in a Spanish ground? The point of this moment in the poem is that the pickpockets don't steal out of respect for what's going on. Surely there's been some huge holy-shit moment some time. You're supposed to know this stuff Arnau, this is football history.
