I think it's a good idea to start a thread for FIFA 2006.
instead of starting 10 months before the game is released, why don't we start a year and a half before ? !!

we will say what we think is missing, what to be improved, what to be added and what to be removed.

and to make it more professional and organizable, we can make it only by "polls".

a thread - or a forum, whatever - contains several polls. each poll has its own part of the game.
For example, a poll for what to be improved in general, a poll for what to be improved in gameplay, a poll for how to improve the AI, a poll for what group of teams should be added...etc.
and NO posts, users can only vote.

this way we can have a good understanding of what the game needs and what people need from the game.

i don't know if the mods and you guys see this is a good idea.
and if the mods can do it or not !

why do you have to wait for fifa 2005 to come out ? !!!

the results will be based on fifa 2004 and euro 2004..
at least EA will know what the majority want and they will have more time to work on it.

the problem is that almost everybody wants his team included, or a specific league or country forgetting about GAMEPLAY which is why PES and WE started stealing FIFA fans !

you play soccer to enjoy, not to play with your team!
i think fifa 2005 won't be that much different from euro 2004, this is why i'm talking about fifa 2006 from now.
i want to ENJOY the gameplay.

Excellent point. Instead of viewing this forum 4 months before release date and saying "OH yeah we can add this" then they rush to add it in, they can see what we want BEFORE they even started working on it.

And the poll idea is also good, it keeps things visually at ease.

Does anyone know if EA Sports actually comes to this website to see what people are saying? or if they have actually taken what people have said and incorporated it into their games? just wondering...

They do make a valid point in that often the forums are only made a few months prior to the release, but months is plenty of time to work on a game and improve it... especially when they are already getting feedback from the previous game.

Payaah, see what FIFA fans are asking EA to include in their game and then tell me who the kids are !!

year after year, and the wishlist doesn't change !

"add this team, and add that team"
"i want this player, i want that league"

this is why PES and WE have also their fans..

I promise, if EA concentrate on the gameplay and nothing else, after 2 years you won't be finding anyone that is still playing PES/WE..
