Hey Adu wasnt the one that hyped himself up. We can think the US media(what else is new) for it. I cant blame Adu because I would take $500,000 a year, plus a million dollar shoe deal with Nike to play in the MLS and not be an everyday starter.

He is not overrated, He is small and weak unlike Rooney, He should give up the MLS and move to a team in Europe, maybe Man U or PSV, those are teams with a great development system.

All this ralk about overhype is not just the medias fault its great intrest from all the major clubs in Europe who think he is an amazing talent. If there was no FIFA rule that restricted Freddy from playing in Europe before he was 18 he would be with either Real Madrid, Man Utd, AC Milan or Chelsea. All of whom are keeping close tabs on Freddy.

On the Chelsea's and AC Milans recent trip to America they both setup meetings w/ Freddy to wine & dine him and invited him to their games. You can talk about overhype all you want ask a scout who scouts all over the world how good Freddy is compared to kids his own age. They will tell he is this best with the ability to bvecome one the best players in the world.

well just my opinion. i think since the coach peter nowak, put him in an attacking midfield role he is getting better with smart sensible passing and great runs. he doesnt take too much time on the ball like before. has anyone seen his past two games. he looks like he has been in the league for sometime and was picking apart the defense with ben olsen and jaime moreno supprting him.
i hated him as much as you all did when he played his first games and then he got a yellow card trying to get back the ball he gave away. he then said to the media he wondered why he wasnt starting. but i thnk he has learned his lesson.


rooney is a great player but his attitude is horrible. he is undisciplined. he is disrespectful. he is only 18 and is yelling at someone that is old enough to be his grandfather. his skills are undoubted thought. by the time freddy is as old as rooney is now i think freddy will be better than rooney at 18. IMO
