How to unlock all boots?
How do I find the transfer.ini files and will edits work now that Frosty is back?
Open legacy explorer and go down the dlc tree. And yes, edits work, all of them, growth, transfer, scout, etc.
Thanks for the help. I haven't edited this game in a while, so I will definitely have to toy around. 2 more questions:
1. do I edit these directly in frosty or is there a way to export the files?
2. do you know where to find the simsettings file?
New TV Logos pack coming soon for the people here in South America.
Champions League x FOX SPORTS
EPL x ESPN
There is an option to export and import. Export them, edit with any program, import, save, ready.
Simsettings are in the same place as all the career files.
Hi, I've got problem. When I press 'launch' in Frosty Editor game won't launch. Only Origin window is open but nothing happens later...
We still have to turn everything into a "mod" for it to run in the game though right?
Nope, it works just fine in fb project and in fact I find it better so because you can work on a project, adding, modifying, editing anything you like. Once you turn it into a mod, it's over, no more modifcations possible. And this year it is not even much faster launching the game through mod manager, like last year. Frosty just loads up really quick, you select the project you want and ready, plus this year, the program is very clean and without errors.
Is there an additionally download link? I cant download it from the website (its very slow and then it gets aborted).
So, wait, I'm not familiar with this. I do my regular modifications, I create an .fbproject, and that's it? I launch from Frosty Editor and the game runs fine?
Yes either that or export it as a Frosty Mod Manager format, load it in that tool and launch from there.
You'll want to launch mods from Frosty Editor only if you're actually working on something and want to test it. Once it's done, save your Project File just in case and export it for Frosty Mod Manager.
Then, launch Frosty Mod Manager, load the Mod and Launch the game.
Ok, that's what I thought. qasar80 was saying to just use Editor but Editor takes longer to load than Mod Manager so I'd rather just make the mod. In my case it's one line in an ini file so I won't be "editing" anything further. Only problem I hope NOT to have is that with FIFA 18 and the last Mod Manager, the mods would frequently not "load". I'd have to un-load them, then load them again. Is that fixed in this version or is that just the way the program works?
I replaced ball ID 41 with ball ID 128 which is a puma ball that I photoshoped into an Nike T90 Aerow. I replaced the .bin files from ball ID 41 to ball ID 128 so that the EPL default ball in game would be the Puma Evo powered one and exported it to mod manager but upon going to the match it crashes. Any suggestions to what is happening?
yesterday, i can play game with first facepack mod with frostymanager. and then i import more mod pack and does not working. i try somefix but not word ( delete ModData and run as administrator frosty ) anyone know how to fix this ?
Yes, the fb project is created by the tool when you save, nothing more to it. Save, click launch and play.
In fact I do not understand why some people would release mods. Just for fear of someone else stealing their work it is not o good reason. A community fb project would be something, where everybody can add their work and enjoy everything in one project.
I do heavy editing on the career mode files in the dlc folder and edit players so fb project is the best. In your case, if you want to edit one line it makes sense to use a mod. Anyway, the time difference for launching the game is not so big.
Fantastic news. Thanks a lot mate.
It's not a steal problem
The problem is that you can't merge project... Bu can load more mods at the same time
So if i share my project and you add something and someone share another project you can't load both at the same time
For this we share mods
In fact I've just share how i have modified the cam...so if someone want to do it again and maybe find new things to add he can
This is for.my idea...obviously
You can help me, where is the ini file in the editor, to change the values.
I refer to this file located in the data folder, to change grass initfs_Win32.
Separate names with a comma.
