TSN doesn't show CL anymore. Last few CL matches they'v been showing gayass curling.

when it comes to an english bias, it seems to be unavoidable now -- champions league, world cup, euros, it is ubiquitous ...

i understand that commentary in other languages is often biased too, but english happens to be the official common language in the world, and an international audio feed with english commentary should remain impartial, imo ... is that really asking for / expecting too much?

fox and sky are owned by same people so might happen is there will be a live game on but also a multi screen format showing all the other games like we have in uk

best possible news in australia. we have 3 fox sport channels and only 1 espn. and considering fox and sky i think the broadcast standard will be similar to premier league matches. which is good because i'd rather watch an english championship game rather than a champions league match on espn because of how **** they are

Even if Fox has several networks that they could show the matches on, we don't know if they will actually do that. I would be shocked if they didn't at least replay matches on FSC though.

For Canadian viewers, this means that 2 games per week(ESPN-->TSN and ESPN2-->TSN2) will most likely be reduced to 1 game per week. And, as a further slap in the face, that game will, with all likelihood, be Dynamo Kiev versus the recently promoted(that's right....promoted) Hoffenheim.

Only during major curling tournaments....which aren't ALWAYS on. When they are, you'll get to watch the full match replay at midnight...assuming you can pull yourself away from the porn, you've got nothing to complain about! Good sir, you are misinformed.

Not really cause every time CL has been on for awhile now i always check TSN and its ALWAYS showing curling. No one cares about stupid replays.

Plus i have HD Satellite but no HD channels that show HD footy only one i know of is the Score HD whcih shows an hd game on sundays (live) most of the time.

Only other channel i know of is skysports hd which i don't get :(

Oh my god! crappy news! Fox Sports México really sucks!!!

ESPN 2 Mexico and ESPN Latino have the best team of commentators and they have 2 channels.

We´ll have to watch only one live game per day.

Tbh I didn't have any real problem with ESPN's coverage of the UCL. They had very good commentators (excluding Tommy Smyth), as well as a good highlights show with usually decent analysis. This is bad because now less people will be exposed to the game, but I'm glad for FSC so I have pretty mixed feelings about this. FSC needs to do the following things to make this work:

1. Either get the commentators from England like they do for the Prem or get the ESPN commentators.
2. Allow other channels to show some games so that we get more than one live game per matchday whether that be Setanta, Gol, or Fx.
3. Provide decent pre and post match coverage and if they can only use FSC people for this only use Bobby Mcmahon and Warren Barton.
4. Provide a way for people without the channel to watch online.
HD coverage would be great, but ESPN didn't have that so I don't really mind.

YELLOW CARD: Untrustworthy
Heard an interview with one of the big boys discuss this news in detail.

1) FSC will be switching to HD before 2010, but they will try to do it before the CL begins it's knockout stage.

2) they will try and provide access to all CL games, from start to finish through FSC, fox expanol, and online, as well as other possible channels.

3) The CL final is to be broadcast on the FX channel.

4) commentary will be the one that is provided through UEFA, so it means english commentary.

5) they will create a post and pre-game coverage for every game.

Looks like all will be well in the end.
