Love the work you've done on Elland Road mate, how's it coming along? More than happy to pay for the stadium once complete :)

Also, I saw in the earlier in the thread that you might need more pictures for reference. Are you looking for anything in-particular? I'm there Sunday vs Boro.

Hello all, after all these years is cool to know that mod community still surviving, despite all the hurdles imposed by the change of engine some years back. Browsing through these forums makes me miss my time as a player and modder. I don't play FIFA anymore, considering that EA ruined the game to me, which considering that I'm a huge football and games lover, means a lot. During my time here, I faced a lot of difficulties to make things happen, especially because most of the fellow stadium makers from my time didn't even bothered to answer questions or PM's, simply ignoring any and every question, this is the kind of toxic behaviour that made stadium makers be so rare IMO...

So, after this brief introduction, the motive I'm typing this post, which probably will be my last one, is my last model. As some of you may recall, I was modeling Elland Road from scratch. It happens that after I finished the model, I faced problems with it's conversion to the game (texture loading issues), probably related with the complexity of the model and the textures amount. Back on that time, @twich told me that the problem could be fixed and that he'll explain me how, but after a lot of unanswered PM's, I eventually quit the project. On the following months, I tried to contact other experienced stadium makers, who could make the conversion and finally release the stadium, with no success...

Considering this, as my last contribution to SG, I've decided to release the finished Elland Road model here, to any member who is capable of convert it to the game. If you don't know the model and wants to check some previews of the model, you can see some images here.

Some informations about the model:

  • It's on .max format, cause back on that time I only know how to use 3ds max to model.
  • The model is heavy, cause I didn't save polygons to make it good, only caring about aesthetics.
  • For the reason above, a small retopology might be necessary, but not mandatory, especially if you know how to fix the conversion issue regarding textures not load in game.
  • The model has base textures only, which means that if you want to have the best result possible, a lightmap work is needed, cause back on that time I only knew how to make the lightmaps on Blender and those .blend files were lost...
  • Stadium's sponsors should be outdated, because of the year that the model was built.
  • This stadium was very hard and took many months to be properly modeled using photo references, so if some of you ever manage to release it, all I ask you is to give me the credit for the model.
  • If you have any other questions regarding this model, feel free to send a PM, just have in mind that I don't open the file for quite some time now, so I may not remember some specifities.

Hopefully someone manage to release it properly.

Cheers, gabrimo.

That stadium was built on demand, which means I received money for it. Considering this, the original buyer asked me to don't release it to the public, considering he paid for it.
For this reason, this stadium is paid only. So if you want it, you can PM me to see if we agree on terms...

I understand your side, I wanted to convert it to PES 2021, but that's okay. If I ever got any money I will contact you in private
