game crashing when substitution in match!!

my game crashes when a match is finished and i want to go back to the menu, but only when i or the pc did a substitution in the match!!
when there´s no substitution the i get back to the menu!!

anyone else with this problem or with a solution??

only things i´ve installed are some 2gk kits installed with kit raptor and an updated net.

I have this same problem and I have nothing installed no patches or kits!!

crashes every time i make a sub and when the game stops during game play and its time for my subs to come on thats when it just crashes staight to desktop no error or anything comes up just Boom desktop

I also have the same problem. I have a Radeon 9600XT. The crash is not the straight consequence of any kits, or balls. It occurs if you change anything in your big, bh or fat files. I tried it:

I uninstalled fifa, and deleted every single file left. Then I reinstalled it. I checked if the in-game substitutions works. It did. Then I ran fatbhbuilder (I didnt import anything, just ran fatbhbuilder). After that the game crashed after an in-game substitution.

I did the same test using fixbig2005, genbh, and fatgui combination instead of fatbhbuilder. The result was the same, the game crashed.

So I think, no matter what you change in FIFA2005, if you do it, it will crash after in-game substitution.

Its an interesting idea, that this has some connection with ATI cards. I have some friends, who have Geforce cards, and they dont have this problem.

So everyone, who reads this forum, please, comment what kind of videocard you have, and tell us, if the game crashes or not.

what then? I agree with the idea of the big files but not the video cards I have a GForce fx5200 and happens the same, in EA are failing badly in a game with a good gameplay but with that problem the people will get bored of it
the other editions were more stabbles an modables

Me:
*Home - Radeon 7500 Pro = CRASHES!!!
*At work - GForce = CRASHES!!!

Conclusion:
I DON'T THINK THE VIDEO CARD IS THE PROBLEM ...

Ok, ok, was just an idea...

I didn't think, the video card was the problem. I just thought that EA programmers did a bad job programming the Ati cards.

But it seems, they did a bad job overall

I have GeForce FX 5200 and same crash problem here after couple of patching (10 kits, BallRev from fifaserwis and 2GBoots).

When I compare to my old Fifa2k2 with hundreds of kits, added players, teams, FifaFX, faces, tweaked gameplay, boots, balls, etc... that's a mess.

This program is too unstable for patching, that's it.
I am purchasing Fifa for licensing and for the community, I think I'm not the only one. I hope EA will talk to the key patchers (Ariel, ...) to solve the issue but I'm not too confident.

That's a pity because I found the game pretty exciting.
Anyway any support welcomed.
