I am having a similiar problem of the game crashing before the match starts. Usually a fix this by deleting a bit of saved data, but that doesnt seem to have worked. I dont want to delete my master league. Any ideas?

Make sure ur save folders dont exit 8MB....especially folder 1
U can always copy all ur saved data in seperate folder and have a backup
IF u have installed kitservers and other stuff then make sure they r installed correctly and the map.txt is correct....hope it helps

Thanks but i dont think that is the problem. I have deleted lots of data and the game still crashes. I have deleted my master league too.

why did ya delete the master league 
Deleting the ML wont solve the problem....i do believe that either u have too much saved data or some patch problems (i.e. kitserver and stuff)
You can also try updating ur graphics drivers....just givin some ideas

Thanks for the help. I dont really know what it is. The game was fine again but today it once more wont play the matches.

are you using kitserver? if you are there might be a corrupted face/hair/kit in the team you are playingt with or against. Try to uninstall kitserver and then run the game to see if it works without it!
