Generic hairs addon for FIP 5.2

Hi everyone!

Here is the FIFA22 generic hairs from the switch version converted to FIFA16.
The folder also include modified FIP 5.2 database versions (players.txt table with hairtypecode value from FIFA22). that you can select with FIP version manager.

Instructions on how to install are inside the readme.txt

Note: some Afro haircuts have white dots because of the texture file (the second one, which is white greyish), but it is still much better than having all those bald players everywhere on the pitch.

Let me know if you find some hairtypecode that have a poor conversion.

Can I still manually apply the hair on the bald players one by one with CM 16 or editing some file without changing the database?

If you have an edited db, you can try to use this R package to add the new hairs to your db:

It requires to install a R version <4.0 (I use 3.6.1)

Use db master to export your players.txt file to the export db folder of the package in the link (don't close db master)

Open R, then change directory, navigate toward the folder in the link then to the R things folder, open a script, select the only script available, crtl+a, ctrl+r and says yes to all the windows prompt without changing
the options.

When the process is finished, go to the import db folder of the package, open the players.txt file with notepad and change the encoding to UTF16 LE BOM.

Import this txt file with db master, save. Done

If the R script throw you error while trying to install some packages, copy the content of this zip inside Documents\R\win-library

So if I'm using a customized DB with new transfers then it's probably not working because your player update script also overwrite joining date and contract length?

Do you have any previews of what these new hair textures look like in game?

Again, amazing, It worked on Ultra! Thanks so much! Now I found that hairtype 284 for example on Erhan Masovic of VfL Bochum looks weird somehow. Maybe someone could have a look into that? I'l keep my eyes open. What a great addition :)
