ok i fixed a couple things hope you like them now, I'll try to work on the other pairs but I don't know why you need so many pairs if Fifa only uses 1

well I don't know much about photoshop I mostly cut and paste the textures from the glove pic then I try to merge it with the glove that comes with fifa as default using the Free-transform tool and playing around with it, sometimes I use the brush tool to fill some spaces with color but that's not to often.

this is the image that I fill up with the pic of the glove and that's basically it

Glove Tutorial of my own creation

Hey guys I was thinking that it could be good if I show you the way I create the gloves so it could help you create your own with ease, I don't have much spare time to do all the requests in a timely manner but I will do as many as my time allows, I know the other designers use different or better ways to do them but this is the way I came up with, so if you know a better tutorial or one with a better use of the photoshop tools it'll be much appreciated.

(I really don't know much about photoshop, I basically watched a few videos then I started making the gloves)

this is merely the way I do the gloves, after 2 or 3 you'll find out your own way probably.

So here we go:

First we open a base file




(i'm using this one)

then we open the glove picture we want to use

in this case I'll be using this one (a pair requested by dead1)

(#1) we choose the magnetic lasso tool, then we go around the area will be using (#2) press Ctrl+C then go to the base picture


next we press the Ctrl key + V to paste the image inside the base glove, then we go to (#1) and click the Free transform option as you can see in (#2), the image you just pasted will be highlighted



then we go to (#1) and click that tab to look for (#2) Multiply so we can see both the pasted image and the base image (#3), now we click the option on top (#4) that says "switch between free form and warp mode" so we'll be able to play around with the texture we are using by pressing and dragging the mouse pointer around and over the base image to make it match the new pasted texture.




after you feel comfortable with the look on the texture meaning you got all edges cover and aligned with the base image we click on top again where it says "commit transform" and move on to the next selection on the original picture of the glove, start with the magnectic lasso tool and copy your selection, then paste it into the base image and follow the steps again to make it match the borders and form of the base image.



we repeat the process over every part of the original glove picture until we have all the items on the base image, I usually separate the original picture into 3 parts, the thumb, the outside of the hand and the top border like in this picture



as you can see we have the base layer then the thumb and the top border, every piece is managed through the free transform tool and placed carefully over the base image as shown here


then after having all parts together and placed as carefully as possible over the base image proceed to change every layer back into normal view by clicking every layer (#1) then clicking on the blending tool (#2) then selecting normal (#3)

now that we have all layers back on normal, we proceed to merge the image by right clicking one of the layers then clicking "merge visible"



then we go to IMAGE we select Image size (#1), and new window will pop out (#2), enter 256 pixels by 256 pixels as you can see on the picture (#3)



now that it's finish we press the "CTRL key + S" to save it, make sure you save it on a known location and that the image format is set to PNG as the picture shows (#1-#2)



good job our glove is now finish, now open creation master 10 and add the glove to the game and have fun

well it's just a little something I could give in return to this forum from all the great kits, minikits and shoes I found here besides I'm just an amateur on this, I hope any of the pros could take over and give us HQ gloves hehe

it takes some practice don't give up i'll do all the gloves in this thread but like I said it'll take me some time just be patient

You should consider making a gloves pack in the future, Foxknight.

Well I'll try to index them in my first post later on, but since Fifa 10 uses only 1 pair for all the goal keepers in the game I think a pack will be too much
