Anyways, fantastic goal to settle the Manchester derby. A rather slow one at the start but with a very early David Silva chance which he should've scored in my opinion.

The second one by Aimar was not a Rooney like goal, but it was a classic Aimar goal. Great reception!

The third one was a great goal by Carlos Martins.

There was no point, the Rooney goal was just an opportunity for me to showoff one of my favourite goals of all-time because yesterday's goal reminded me of it.

Oh and I admit, perhaps I also posted it because I knew it would evoke a pissed off response by edgy United fans, like you, who cream themselves over Rooney. Sometimes I'm a bad person, I know. My apologies. (Y)

You're right, though, I don't think the Rooney goal should be goal of the week. It should probably be goal of the season.

I'm not saying that it'll be the best goal of the week but it is still nice from Ronaldinho and a great celebration. Definitely worth posting and it's wonderful to see the legend be happy again.
