Graphic Card Problem

Hi there,

I just bought a new computer, and the graphic card that was on the paper when i bought it was the GeForce FX 5200

When the computer came to my home i start to check if the components correspond to the one's on the paper. And the graphic card that was on the PC was a Radeon 9200 SE Atlantis

I've asked to a friend of mine to know wich one was better, and he told me that the FX 5200 was better...

I would like to know what you guys think,

they are both the same. Theres virtually no difference between the 2.

the 5200 is DirectX 9 compatible while the 9200 SE is not. BUT the 5200 can hardly play any DirectX 9 games at high resolutions so the DirectX compatibility makes no difference.

No point in getting a 5200 when you have a 9200. You'll be moving sideways and in many ways even backwards.

TBH the FX5200 is a pile of poo anyway, if you had a bit o'cash i'd replace the 5200/9200 with a 9700 Pro or better :)

Isn't there a mod to make the 9200 to a 9500? Or was it 9200SE to 9200? I can't remember :(

sell ur bloody Radeon 9200 SE Atlantis at eBAY & go 4 Nvidia Geforce4 MX 4000. Its supports everything in the world.

Way 2 go Nvidia.
