do you think Barca fans will ever criticize such a move if ever happens? ... they think that's the right thing to do ;-)

One of the most influencial man in our club history

Us Chelsea fans love Mourinho too but when something doesn't go well for him we sympathise and talk about how to change it rather than trying to change it into a victory

Utd lose 2-1 to city in a close match - sir didier expresses some sympathy, concerns and early questions about Mourinho management of this new group of players

City are stomped 4-0 by Barcelona - arnau, xaviesta etc also say that is was such a revolutionary loss it infact counts as a win glory glory guardiola

Kp did you enjoy guardiola's revolutionary home draw with Southampton, they dropped those points at home to vastly inferior opposition so well that it counts as a massive win, glory glory guardiola

I found this extraordinarily well made point in the comments section under a podcast I listen to, it beautifully sums up how I feel about many of the contributors and much of the discussion on this forum :

Man City lost 4-0. Has it got to the point where the score line now entirely secondary to the narrative people want to put on the game? A 0-0 is a disaster, a 4-0 defeat a triumph and Leicester refusing to attempt a title defence is commendable.

Just be honest and say it’s all about how much you like people in football and give up on the results and games. If you’ve got a good media image that’s all that counts. Play clips from press conferences and then give verdicts like judges on The X Factor.

Can you guys not see how much this personality stuff dominates your entire perception of how football games happen? Does it not even register as a possibility?
