Too many matches seem to be played at night and/or in the rain - which makes the ball act as though the pitch is waterlogged.

@Modders: Do you think some sort of weather changer might be possible at some point?

Wow - that simple, eh? MD, do you know the codes for the different types of weather? What does weather_type=0 mean: sunny day? It doesn't work unless you exit the game first, does it? That would be a bit too simple. :D

@MD: It removed the rain graphically, but the effects on the pitch were still there - the bogging down of the ball and so on.

I noticed the rain and wet conditions reduce FPS in gameplay, when you used MD's method of turning off the rain falling, did it increase your FPS or did it stay the same?

I have started a career using Borussia Dortmund and have the same problem so far. Half way through the season all matches are at night, and most of them have rain. I'm running the game at 60FPS with next to lowest resolution, detail on med., and the rain lowers my FPS to about 53-55 for most of the match. :(

The game only lags for me under Win 7 - rain or no rain. Under XP, no matter the conditions, I get no lag at all.
