I have them on now, I will tell you what.....they hurt like hell when you first get them, and the nurses are so damn rough. When you get them dont even try and eat anything....jst live off of air for a while. Dont get me wrong, while they put them on it doesnt hurt, but after about a week they start to hurt like hell.

When they tie the bands on my teeth....it doesnt hurt all that much, you can feel the change, but nothing like then they first put them on. Right now I have a retainer to move my lower jaw under the top set of teeth, then I am going to get the bottom row of teeth done, then I guess they are going to use elastic bands to move my jaw back.


Right now, I have a great smile, the braces worked really quick, with in a month my top row of teeth were perfect, but I ASKED them to move my lower jaw back, because I have a bit of an overbite that I want taken are of.









btw, when they ask you what colors you want...dont be a fag and ask for orange and blue and green....just ask them which ones make it so you cant really see the braces.


You arent 5, no one likes a person that has orange or blue braces, and girls just think that's stupid.

i was offered braces and all that, they wer gonna remove teeth and this like over 2 years and all cos I offered to go as by front tooth was slightly crooked, it wasnt that bad at all, but i had overcrowding on the top set and it pushed it forward to far hence hoarsey teeth!!! but they aint that bad, and i didnt go through with this 2 year thing, it wasnt worth all the trouble, i couldnt eat curry for like a year, and being half indian i cudnt survive!!!

I had them for 2.5 years.

13-15 years old

I hated it at first, but once you get used to it you forget about it.

Another thing I hated was getting them tightened.

I ate anything except really gooey candies.

I have braces on now.They only hert for a couple of days after the guy tightens them.

My orthodontist said i should be able to take them off in a couple of visits....................................but thats wat he said like a month ago:rolleyes: lol

damn, I had braces and I wear glasses. :D

You get used to the braces after a while, having them tightened was a pain in the ass. I just hated going the ortho every month, its all worth it though, my teeth were a mess but they finally look good.

EDIT: I still don't have anybody to go with, although my friend Yesenia said she wanted to go

haha, none actually. ;) I didn't get my glasses until after I had my braces off so I never had a problem with that.
