Help! I can't import kits to FIFA 11

I recently got a FIFA 11 game and tried to install some home made kits to the game. The kits were made as PNG files and not much different from the original game kits when it comes to design.

Importing a new badge was no problem. However, when I tried to import the kits with Creation Master 11.2, the first thing that happened was that the kit lokked like s**t in the 3d picture in Creation Master. So I just closed the whole program without saving anything.

The next time I tried, an error message came up with a lot of technobabble I didn't understand half the meaning of. The only thing I did seem to understand was that something was locked and some memory was damaged.

So how do I solve this? Is there some other program which is easier to import kits with? And why those errors. Or should I simply buy a FIFA 14 game instead. Are the kits in that game easier to import?

So you just imported the png images using Cm 11.2? I don't remember having that kind of problem when I used to put stuff on fifa 11, unless the png files didn't have the correct sizes. But I remember that one of the latest versions of CM 11 had some bugs, when trying to import cmp patches. I believe the best version of cm 11 (more stable is 11.0 or candidate release) You can probably find it on moddingway.

Also there is a tool made by iard that is a kit manager (kinda like the i68 regenerator but is just for kits)

Alternatively there was also a file manager (made by bassio) for fifa 11 that can do most of that stuff, even though it doesn't have a 3d preview window like cm

Sorry but moddingway don't seem to have anything older that FIFA 12.

I can't understand why they simply don't remove CM 11.2 since it seem to be useless. I've actually been looking for CM 11.0 ever since I got a copy of FIFA 11 but I can't find it anywhere.

OK, I've come so far that I've noticed something strange.

If I export a kit from the game and import it again or if I export, let's say Bacelonas jerseys and import them unedited to, let's say Milan, then there is no problem.

But when I try to import one of my own creations, then I get those error messages.

What can be wrong? They are simply PNG files made in Adobe Photoshop. I see no reason why they should be corrupted. Besides that, I can import logos and jersey badges but not the kits.

I tried File Manager but I can't find the kits, only a lot of minikits.

I did find a program which helped me to import the kits to the game. It's called FIFA 11i68 Kit Manager. When I tried this program, it was no problem to import my own creations to the game.

Problem solved!

Or so I thought. :(

Then another problem which I believe is related to CM 11 showed up.

I replaced one team with another, changing kits, logos and everything. Saved and everything did seem to be fine. I also played a game and noticed that my team didn't have the names on the backs of the kits but no problem, I'll fix it tomorrow. So I thought.

Then when I accessed CM 11 the next day, the logo from the old team was back on the kits. This time I also changed the settings so that the team should have names on their backs but there were no names on the backs in the game when I tried to play.

I would be very grateful if anyone could tell me where to download the CM 11.0, most likely on some site which is not virus-infected.

Or if anyone has another solution how to solve these constant problems with CM 11.2.

If those problems simply can't be solved, I would be happy if anyone could inform me about some football game which works with Windows 7, which is not that difficult to edit and which has a good, reliable editor.

I might give the impression of being a rude, complaining jerk but I want to edit what I want to edit and start playing the game instead of constantly running into a wall of problems.

The fifa-master (assuming that's the site you've checked) doesn't have any viruses. That's just some stupid website policy problem... (probably someone misguidely reported the site and caused that mess)

Also, I wouldn't replace teams in the game if I were you. It's better to add them instead. And after you edit things with cm or any other tool, make sure you don't have any squad save file inside the fifa 11 folder on your documents folder... That's probably why things like names on shirts don't show ingame.
And finally there's no problem with Fifa 11 and it's tools under windows 7 OS, at least none that I'm aware of. Had 7, had 11 installed there and the tools and they seemed to work just fine

The Fifa-Master website is OK, no problem with that one. But they only have CM 11.2 and in my search for CM11.0 I've been visiting other sites where there have been some dubious content. Sites where you search for one thing, finds what you're looking for but the actual download is hidden among other downloads buttons which downloads crap you definitely don't want.

As for changing names on teams and transforming them into new teams, I 've done that before on other games instead of creating new ones at it hadn't been any problems before. In fact, it was recommended to me some years ago as a better method than creating new teams.

But in that case, how many new teams and players can I create for FIFA 11, using CM11?

The same for simply changing team logos (some teams do change their logo from one season to another) and making player names visible. It has never been any problem before, therefore I'm totally lost here.

As for FIFA 11 and Windows 7, no problem for me either. I was actually referring to the problems I had with FIFA 09 which obviously doesn't work at all with Windows 7.

Have you clicked the save icon (the little floppy one) below your image previews on CM? That's what actually saves your uniforms to the game.
Try that, then run the Regenerator.

I usually edit my kits through CM because I never figured out how to use Kit Manager properly, and I never had problems.

As for FIFA 09 and Win7, have you tried running it in Compatibility Mode? I can run FIFA 98 on Win7 like that - it only has some graphical errors during matches, but I think that's more due to the engine's age than anything else.
