it's cheating depending on what you use it for.
Cheating is, essentially, doing something that you would normally do, but with prior knowledge or skill that is unrealistic and seemingly unfair to the other parties.
Now, technically, cos you're just playing FM against yourself, the only thing you're cheating is yourself, because you'll get less satisfaction out of it
