hello everyone.
i basically just need some1 to help me with all this new editing.
i am a big fan of pro evo , and i first started editing with pro evo 3 , missed pro evo 4 , did pes5 quite succesfully , but now i am kind of feeling a bit lost and like a newbie with the pro evo 6 editing.
basically , with pro evo 3 , i just had afs explorer , opened up the dat file or wotever , then u could just download a kit in a format i can't remember, then import it over the corresponding one in the afs , then save it , and like u could do balls the same way and stuff , uc ould just smply download stuff and import it over it , easy peasy. and then with pro evo 5 , i had to teach myself how to use dkz studio , and at first i managed to successfully edit a few things such as a couple of kits and sounds and stuff , but in the end i just downloaded the superpatch , which just did everything for me , and i just assumed it was kinda the same as afs explorer , where all the old files were just replaced by new ones , such as kit textures etc .
but now my problem is , coming back to this site and seeing all these new things , like kitserver , and ballserver , has kind of confused me , because i always assumed u had to place kits over old ones in the actual game dat thing , such as afs explorer/dkz studio etc , but kitserver seems to be a standalone thing.
i have also seen things such as new adboards and chants and stuff , and do u just need dkz studio for that , and kitserver to do all new kits and stuff?
i have downloaded kitserver and installed it , but i am really confused with using it. i know there are instuctions with it , but i feel they are still a bit advanced.
like i guess u download those pics of kits and stuff , like the ones i used to edit with the WEpicdecoder , and sort them into folders , and put the corresponding things into the map file , but what are all the other things in the kitserver folder , such kserv.cfg , like how do u open that?
basically i just really want new kits and balls on my pro evo 6 , and kitserver and ballserver look like excellent tools , and i just really want some really basic instructions for it just to get new balls and kits ingame. i guess there will be a massive patch out at some point , which does everything ingame , but that will all be on dkz i guess , and won't come put for a while.
i expect u get a lot of people like me asking dumb questions , but i'm just annoyed 'cause i haven't edited for a while , and really want to get to grips with kitserver.
