How about a Discord server for this forum?

Yep, just like the title says, a discord server for this forum. It will be easier that way for quick communications between modders instead of sending message via pm, which can take some time.

I personally like the idea of keeping things in one place. I also like the fact that here on SG, I can go back to previous messages regardless of their "age" (don't know if discord has a message history feature, since I'm not familiar with it).

Discord is very confusing and is really hard to find something there.
Someone has interes in attracting atention there, but as it is it's not even close to this forum or moddingway.

Who said it was meant as an replacement for the forum?

All I said was that it could be used as a chatbox like many forums has.

It's a valid suggestion, although I would much rather prefer that such a function was implemented on this site rather than having to visit yet another one.

True, a lot of forums have shoutboxes, and I am sure that it would be easy to introduce here.
