how can I register teams to a conference in master league

I just wanted to create my own "western division" in master league mode, for example registering bayern munich and manchester to a conference that they do not belonged to by default. but I have no idea how to do it. weditor could not do that as far as I can see. such a thing to do with afs explorer? any comments?
