How do you guys record your videos?

Sorry to sound like a total tard ... but how do you guys record your videos? I'd like to create some little movies of my goals ... but I have no idea how to record the videos.

Some advice would be muchly appreciated.

you can use fraps or takshi video recorder software...m assumin u r playin on pc

I use the software that came with my vid card, asus gameshow live, records 30fps@720x480, would use fraps for the higher res support but it will only record 30secs at a time!

just follow that and you'll be fine. also set your resolution in your settings to the highest it can be. i think it is something like 1280*1456 or something around that area.

game cam is a grt piece of software ... i used to use fraps but gamecam is lot mre advanced easily does 30 fps on my prehistoric PC

using fraps for me at 800x600 or over has too much of a hit on the game starts jerking and playing up, i`ll stick with the asus software for now no hit at all.

Can somebody give me free program that makes file size lower? I'll appreciate it.

i havent tried this before cos game cam files are smaller than fraps but try openin windows movie maker load it then export it. see if that works
