How do you import a new ball.fsh into purge.big?

I really need the benefit of someone's expertise here. I am having difficulty importing balls into FIFA2002WC. I am using EAGraph 0.9.8. I extracted purge.big. I open it and click on ball.fsh. I next click the import wizard. The problem is that only the last 2 options are available. The first (import into currently open image) is greyed out. This also happens if I expand ball.fsh and select one of the images in the tree.

Also, if I try to add files to purge.big using the second option in the import wizrd, I get an error saying that purge.big is not a valid EA TAR archive.

Would somebody be so kind as to step through the entire process of importing a ball from start to finish? Or if you know of a website that has already explained this, could you point me to it?

Make sure you have impbig and gfxpak, you can download from www.fifafx.de

Make a new document in wordpad and paste this in.

Save the file as something.bat inside the main wc 2002 directory.

Then double click on the file

impbig /e data/enviro/enviro.big purge.big purge.big
Gfxpak -p purge.big ball.tpl ball.fsh

or you could export the purge.big from the enviro.big file, put it in the enviro folder, and install the ball files using fifamania installer (just change the designated folder to wc2002's) and then import the new purge.big file back into the enviro.big file.

Hi friend,
I have been able to install the balls and got the right solution to make them work.

1.First get files 'Impbig' and 'Gfxpak' from the internet and put them in your Fifa world cup environment directory
"cProgram Files\EA SPORTS\2002 FIFA World Cup TM\data\enviro\"

2.Add three files of new ball - ball.fsh , ball.rav , ball.tpl into same directory.

3. Create a new file in notpad and add the following lines:-

impbig /e enviro.big purge.big purge.big
gfxpak -p purge.big ball.tpl ball.fsh
impbig /e enviro.big static.big static.big
gfxpak -p static.big ball.rav

impbig /i enviro.big purge.big purge.big
gfxpak -p purge.big ball.tpl ball.fsh
impbig /i enviro.big static.big static.big
gfxpak -p static.big ball.rav

And save the file as something.bat by selecting all files option.

4.Put this batch file in the directory mentioned above.

5. Run the batch file and your new ball will be ready to be played.
