i'm still downloading, one question for someone who get it, is OTB control good and is it complicated?
i didn't try OTB.. no game pad...
But it's AMAZING man!! THe faces have improved alot.. the movement of the players without the ball have improved too..
I think it's amateur level I think cause I managed to score with Del Peiro on the edge of the P.Box into the top corner as well as with Nedved.. but this time outside the box... amazing goals man.. i could never do that with Fifa2003..
There was a thru ball by the CPU and Del Peiro was about to reach it, then my Defender pushed him to the floor and the ref blew for a foul..that's so cool..
And when I was fouled just outside opponent's P.box.. and the ref (Collina) gave a yellow card and the opponent stood over my player and started "Abusing" my player and also making the diving motion..haha..you guys will LOve it man!!

Yes, I can't wait either to be able to play a full two-half game with more than 4 minute halves. And to be able to really enjoy the graphics of the game, even though I really am enjoying the demo even with the software rendering.

Yes Valioso, I agree 100% I love the passing and the way you can play the long ball to far or too short and how YOU have to run your player to the ball by using the sprint button (loose ball).

OK... first of all, the video quality is very poor. Very low resolution. and as if that wasn't bad enough, you only get to play for 4 minutes at a time. This wouldn't be so bad if there was an option to restart at the end, but there isn't. After the half is over, you are forced to exit the program and re-open it. I'm ALREADY tired of sitting through the license screens and EA screen. Is this some kind of cute little joke by EA?

Really impressed me, still have worked out the off the ball thingy tough.
uh... the OTB is a joke in the demo.
I could already here people saying, "The demo is on amature level" or "This is just a demo, wait 'till the final version".
Nevertheless, for now, its a joke. The defender just stands there waiting me to make the pass. I've got all the time to select the reciever then move him around anywhere on the field and make the pass.
Cons
- The shots are still ridiculously fast ('most always on goal)
- Spotted awkard player-ball collision now and then
- The goalie is still as useless as it was in 2003 when it comes to charging.
- At times, the regular 'S' pass seem to send the ball to places I don't intend to, just as it was in 2003.
- And yes, the OTB control didn't impress me much... "YET".
Pros
- No more stupid separate header button.
- Header now actually works.
- The overall feel of the game is a lot less scripted compared to 2003.
- Player runs are more responsive. Easier to make 1-2's.
The game feels a lot like 2003, but less scripted when controling the players [not sure if this is good or bad, so far]. Wish there was a radar in the demo, but I guess I gotta wait for the actual game for that.
Well, me gotta play some more to state any definite assessments.
