How To Add A New Country In The Scout System?

Hi friends,

I added some new countries and leagues in FIFA 16, but I can't send scouts to search players in this leagues. They were showed at region selection but I can't select them. As example, I added Paraguay league at South America region, I saw the league, but when I try to send a scout to this region I just can select Brazil, Argentina, Chile or Colombia, that are the defaults leagues from game.

Obs.: I'm not trying to scout youth players!!!

Someone can help me?

Firsrt I thought it's something to do with these lines in scout.ini

MAX_NUMBER_OF_YOUTH_SCOUT_NATIONS = 54
And the risk factor lines below it.(Editing these didn't work)

And then someone told me to create a national team and set a objective, that didn't work too. Because you have algeria doesn't have a national team but is selectable in youth scouting on the other hand hungary got a team but isn't included.

I have done it and it works! I have Philippines league and I can send GTN scouts there and I can also send youth scouts there. The youth players all have Filipino names too! I will enjoy my next career mode as I will try to grow young talents from Philippines and lead the national team into the world cup! YES!!!

I will explain (shortly) what I've done to make this work.
(I will be using Philippines as an example, because it's what I used - but it should work with any other country).

Added national team Philippines (there are instructions elsewhere on how this is done).
Added a new league using the safe method of replacing another leauge (using another leagues ID and database name). In my case I replaced the Norwegian tippeliga.

Scouts can only be sent to countries that have a map shape (see the country tab in CM16) - so I changed the flags and name of Japan into Philippines. The map-image is not changed - so in-game it LOOKS like japan, but it reads as Philippines, and scouts for Filipino players.

To get the names right, you have to edit some tables in the DB:

career_lastnames table
and
career_firstnames table

You'll find that there are links from certain names to certain nationality in the
career_namesgroups table

I got everything working since I read other users useful info. For convenience I will share these posts and threads:

EDIT: Remember that when you are changing the nations this also affects players nationality. So you may have to go into the players table and alter their nationality once more.

I only replaced the flags NOT the map.

It is possible to add yes, just as long as you use a country in the list above.

For instance If I replace slovakia with ukraine, it will be ukraine that will be scouted but slovakia will be excluded. You're right but I was talking about adding a country without replacing or even replaced both of them will be available.

YES it is possible to ADD without replacing. Just as long as it has a map on the global scout view.
