How to become a moderator?

This question has been asked loads of times before :rolleyes:

You have to be elected in the mod elections which are at the start of each year, but sometimes people are just chosen on merit :rolleyes:

There are moderator elections held every year at SG. The last one was held at the start of this year...about the time you joined, so I guess the next elections will be at the start of next year.

u have to be on the forums whenever it is humanly possible, and when you are forced to go off the forums (toilet, food etc.) you have to think about the forums................

also, a donation to me would do no harm (H)

Just a note, but this would have to be one of the more poorly moderated forums I am a member of. I realize it would be very difficult to do the job with the amount of young people that no doubt visit this place, but in terms of controlling threads etc I just don't see much being done. More locking of useless threads, more merging of threads (there are currently three threads in the main forum on Ronaldinho's transfer to Barca), and more enforcement of useless posts (stuff like one line full of smiley faces etc..) needs to happen.

I know for a fact that a lot of the mods are oin vacation right now and arent visiting the forums so much cuz of that.
and it isnt that bad though It could be a little bit more 'agressive' :p

These forums seem to be heading downwards. Amazing amount of rule-breakers, like people with 2 sigs, 3 sigs, 1 friggin large sig and. Not forgetting the large amounts of disputes around. Many people seem to have left because of such, and mods really have to work harder.

as I said before, besides the lots of mods that are on vacation, almost all if not all, the supermods (the ones that can edit Member Profiles) are on vacation too so we simple mods have been reporting everything to them but nothing can be done till they get back.

just wait for Kader to get back and Im sure he'll start slashing some members profiles :p:crazyboy: :p
