How to install the spanish commentary??-help

Hi , i downloaded the spanish commentary (ESPN) for 2006 fifa world cup---PC version. The commentary is by Javier Laguna and Pepe Castaño.

There are two files :
audio.big
file size: 1.37 mb

and

dat_spa.big
file size: 207 mb

i'm just guessing
but what you can do is this
put those files in data\audio (previously backup audio.big and dat_eng.big)
and change the name of dat_spa to dat_eng
don't forget to backup the original files

That's not necessary, you don't have to rename those files.
1) Just copy them to FIFA WC2006 data/audio folder (when ask for overwrite, choose yes).
2) And you have to activate the spanish language on config.dat, which is in the main folder of the game:
a) Open it with File Master 06 and inside you will find several .ini files. Extract to any folder the one called "locale.ini", open it with the wordpad and where it says "AVAILABLE_LANGS = eng", erase the "eng" and put "spa".
b) Open the config.dat again and import the file you've edited.

Now, start the game, and choose "Español" in the language selector.
That's all folks!

hey i am having trouble opening the file master 06, i have the .net framework already, but it doesn't work.

Do you have the original game or a copy? Because that happens to me when I played with a downloaded FIFA which was divided into 3 cd, instead of beeing in one DVD, like it should be.

I have the original game, is one Dvd , like you say.
But, what do you use to open the FileMaster?
how do i open it?

you must have fifa06 to make it work
anyway, do what i said first
if you want the game in spanish just make a ini file in the main folder (where is the exe)
copy this into the notepad
[OPTIONS]
DEFAULT_TEXT_LANGUAGE = spa
[]
WINDOWED=0
AVAILABLE_LANGS = eng,fre,ger,ita,spa,mex,swe,dut,pol

and save it as locale.ini
and there you go
if youwant the saved games, just need to change the names in My documents fifawc folder
