Mostly watered artificial turf, rarely on grass. Sometimes artificial turf that hadn't been watered.

There's a lot of money in field hockey clubs here, so almost all have 2 or more artificial pitches.

Wow over here there are only 3 waterered artificial turf picthes thats just in South Australia though and Hockey isnt very big. Most of my games are played on this Artificial Turf with Sand on it so that they can play Tennis in the Summer. It Rips up youre skin when you fall over
