Hybrid+matrix experiment

Well the title says it all, i was trying these two gameplay patches and i find a pretty good mix i believe

HYBRID+Matrix+LOD v2.0
SENDSPACE
contains: Hybrid Gameplay v2.2 - Matrix v0.1 - LOD ultra high settings
NEW Fixed database!!!!
No more duplicated teams & Leeds in Championship, Notts County, Rochdale, Southend all fixed!!!​

the instructions are very simple,

- put the original (from patch v1.01) data7.big, data7.bh inside fifafs folder
- run data7.bat
- put data7.big, data7.bh, data0.big, data0.bh (i have them ready for you) inside EA\FIFA 11\Game
- put "db" folder inside EA\FIFA 11\Game\data
- put "NEW Fixed database!" 2 files inside EA\FIFA 11\Game\data\db
- in game go to FIFA 11 settings-EDIT-RESET ALL SQUADS (do the reset 3 times, its the only way for Matrix to be activated!!)

*do as many RESET ALL SQUADS are needed until stats are changed
*Check if "read only" option on dataX.big and bh is disabled
*i have created and tested on the new fifa 1.01 patch.
*data0.big has settings.lua

- run step-1matrix, then step-2 hybridv1, then step-3-data7

*settings.lua (LOD) is already inside fifafs with ultra high settings
*Check if "read only" option on dataX.big and bh is disabled
*i have created and tested on the new fifa 1.01 patch.

Just tried the mod and it seems to be great, my only issue with it is that i used my customised settings.lua, but i get player LOD reduction when the camera zooms out

yes i believe it is great! i spend many hours testing it with different versions.

about settings.lua... maybe try with the one i have on fifafs folder.

Sorted ! I forgot to remove Rem from bat file to install settings.bat, silly me!

Yeah, i tried both settings.lua but i still get reduced player lod as soon as the camera moves away. It`s more noticable in arena mode.

well... hm maybe try first step 2 then step 1, i really dont know, but the arena.. isnt so importand right? if you like the gameplay

My impressions for Matrix:

- It's true, in the arena I notice a huge difference. The most important is the moviment of the player and the feel controling then.
- I felt disconfortable about some things. Seems like the player slides in the field, it's a bit strange. The smothness is ok, but looks like a player on steroids. In my opinion looses the simulation aspect of the game (i'm loving hybrid 2.2).

I'm gonna stay on 2.2 for now, but is valid for testing. I'm sure a lot of people will like the Matrix too.

well Matrix changes things most in certain areas... stamina/fatigue, movement and since its in 0.1v you cant expect too much.. i think of it as a plus in hybrid, and i put hybrid v1 cause i like it is more "free" plus the data7 addon

Hybrid is a combination of v1 and v2.2, Matrix has 0.2? where did you see it...?

EDIT: ok i've found Matrix v0.2 but it crashes with EA patch 1.01

Guys i found the way to fully implement Matrix, stats of players now are updated!!! you can compare them before and after the patch.

so i created a version 2.0, you will find it in first post!! for EA's patch 1.01, with Hybrid Gameplay v2.2 - Matrix (full) - LOD ultra high settings.


i was really surprised by the results!!!
