I played PES08 Demo in XBOX360. WE WON FRIENDS. FIFA is the best

Are you sure? I mean game is WAY too fast and there isn't no playing in the middfield at all. It's just about defending your goal or trying to make one in the opponents end.

I've been liking PES for years and I still do like it, but it's really going wrong direction with it's speed. It's going arcade direction as well just with being so freaking fast.

I set the PES 2008 demo on the hardest level, yet I do still have that same problem about having 5 passes then I'm in the other side of the field! The pitch feels small and the ball slides for point A to B without anyone interrupting it most of the time!

In FIFA 08 Demo, the difficulty is set by default on Semi-Pro, which is the 2nd level our of five! and the game feels so real, if I put it on hardest the game will be just crazily amazing, it'll be something that I will need to inject everyday into my blood and vains!

I have already decided that PES 2008 is just pure lazy football for the arcades, I tried everything about it, results show no any "next-gen" reactions; the game is a joke from Konami, its like they have a hidden underground version to show us after 2 weeks or something and its April fool already! Unbelievable crap.

I think you misunderstood him mate...

However he does have a point.

For me personally, it doesn't really matter how realistic the game is because the player movements still look very choppy and blocky. In other words they still move like robots, like when they wait for the ball to come to them when it should be the other way around.

The advantage of PES is that the players feel very free and loose, not blocky. They actually move like real players, and that for me adds a great deal of realism to a game.

It won't be that fast on the final version, trust me. Do yourself a favour before buying either fifa or pes. Read the reviews there will only be one winner, and it won't begin with the 6th letter of the alphabet.

I played the PES demo the other day and it had some sort of hardcore Benny Hill feel to it. Very unreal. Still kind of enjoyable though.

they are decent, NFL 2K anything looks better on the PS2/ XBOX than PES looks on any next gen system, Konami needs to do a MUCH better job before I can crown them a next gen game because frankly it's not, that game can still be on the PS2

Not being negative just stating the facts, Konami has disappointed me, I want to see a rebuilt gameplay and graphics engine from them, tired of them giving me a few upgrades and then charging me top dollar. It was awesome on current gen but now IMO it is just way behind times on the next gen.

It's like putting a 87 hondaii engine in the body of a 2008 porsche
