Thanks !!!
I confirm that now I don't have any error.
Can you explain me how to update team squads / roasters / kits for the offline option ?

For the kits is simple:
download what you want from the internet
(in the kits thread you can find nearly everything!)
and use the fifth panel of the controller (installer) to apply.

For the rosters is a little bit more complicated.
You have to find a patch...
than make sure that is compatible with what you have installed before...
follow the instructions of the author!

Within some days I should be able to complete
the sixth panel of the controller,
which will be called 'merger', and will allow, among other,
also the merging and updating of the rosters.

Bye

Thanks mate, so I wait for the merger.
About teams and calendar, is there also a patch which will update the teams and the calendar to the new season 2014/15 (e.g new teams in italian serie A and serie B) and updated teams in champions league?

Many thanks for the tools, master :)

I've got a question though: Is it necessary to create an i68 temp folder in the documents path for the controller? I'm not entirely sure the regenerator is eliminating references from all the necessary files, because the only changes I've tested so far (on the db's) were not taking effect ingame

You can test by yourself that the regenerator works fine by opening
FileMaster, and searching big files for your edited files:
you should find them highlighted!

Attention, you can see ingame only few db changes and only
in your second game (not Liverpool ManchCity)...

Please, test the regenerator with other files.

Ehm... you want to play fifa15 with the 14!

You have to wait if someone releases a "super" patch!

I've noticed that the graphic files are having their references correctly removed as proven by the Napoli graphic patch, but I'm not seeing the extra kit I've added to the db (a 4rth kit for Barça). I only see home and away kits for the teams.

Aaah...
I've tried and failed too.
For some reason, we can't add extra kits to the demo!

I'm waiting for the real game! :innocent_smile_1:

Actually, master, it's possible to add kits to the demo :)

For some reason the regenerator wasn't removing the reference to one of the edited db's and after testing it a couple times I managed to get it working. It appears that since the new regenerator doesn't have filters, if you run it twice, the game ignores the files in the folders on the second pass, undoing the changes

Ooh I get it!

Hence, it is necessary to remove the references to both db.

Now, the extraction procedure deletes the fifa_db_si after renaming, so you're right, a second step may restore the reference and cause the problem.

I'll make sure not to delete the second database, and tonight, I will update the executable.

Thank you.

I tried, but unfortunately the online gaming stopped to work, so I removed it.

Use the controller (the first button under first tab...) to switch from offline to online mode and viceversa. After you have changed your game mode, is better to launch the game directly from the controller by clicking on the tab
(only the first time)!

Mmm, what does the "online" mode do exactly ?
I noticed that the moddingway introduces permanent changes to the game (e.g I got "moddingway ..." label also in the transition popups while playing).
Does the online mode set by controller restore the original database + all original screens of the game (and so the moddingway labels are removed from the game) ?

After I failed to play online with moddingway I had to uninstall and reinstall completely the game since it seems not possible to remove it easily...I tried to follow their procedure to uninstall it (copy files from backup folder to game folder) but it didn't work. This means that before installing again the moddingway I want to be sure that it will work with the controller...

For the Moddingway, you have to use the Scenario Mode of the Controller:
this feature allow you to play with both 5 differrents installation of the game.
Read how it works on iard68.altervista.org in the switcher page!

I planned, for a future version of the suite, to make the online button
to work also when the dlc files are modified. Menus and graphic files, normally, do not create problems.

Thank you very much for the help.
I am going to use the switcher with multiple scenarios.
Currently i created one new scenario called "Moddingway".
In my FIFA14 folder I have now 3 "games" folder:

- Game
- Game Base
- Game Moddingway

In order to install the moddingway patch 3.9.0 shall I have to put all the files into the Game Moddingway folder ?

Perfect. Than when you want to play online switch to the Fifa14 default scenario (now the Game dir)! Do not touch the Game Base folder.

I've tried.

Regenerator works fine and delete correctly refernces for both
2 databases, else in the second and third pass.

You have simply to not delete all the (four) files from the db folder.

Thanks for the help.
I have a doubt about the installation of the moddingway under the dir "Game Moddingway":

If I manually copy the moddingway files under FIFA/Game Moddingway folder and then launch the installer "ModdingWayInstaller.exe" copied into the main FIFA folder then I assume that the installer will copy the files undet FIFA/Game folder and so this will alter the "default" scenario :(

So how can I install the moddingway patch under the Moddingway scenario (that means under the folder FIFA/Game Moddingway) ?
