i68Tools

    Uhm...

    I think it's a database issue:
    the program freezes BEFORE the db loading process.
    And, it's strange because the system should report
    that the databases are not recognized!

    Another peculiarity...
    Why the system identifies 35 .big files and not 25?
    It should not be a problem but it is not normal.

    Well, my DB is fine. Don't know why the program should't load it, every other program does.

    About the .big files, does it count every language big file? If yes, I have a lot installed and those are about 35 including the other bigs.

    Isn't the language files a .loc file rather than a .big?

    I mean the audio files (commentary), those are .big files.

    For a couple of days it worked great, but now every time when I start the i68 controller, it says the initialization file is not found and I can't click on anything except the news. Does anybody know what's wrong?

    i68Controller 2.2.5 released

    Hello people! Last night I released a new software update:

    • some new commands have been added to the Scripter for the management
      of the stadiums table and others for the automated editing of the players stats
      (please refer to the templates for information and examples)
    • various imperfections and errors were corrected
    • the recognition process of the operating system
      it's been rewritten according to the new features provided by the framework 4.5
      and now it seems finally correct

    With reference to the recently emerged problems, I confirm that the software works perfectly on a clean fifa16 under windows 10, as well as on the 4.53 version of the ModdingWay mod. If you are having problems initializing, is due to some of your edits that for some reason create conflict. If you are interested, I leave you to investigate the problem and if is required, I will be willing to modify the program to bypass any obstacles.
    As a first step, I recommend the removal of the file i68Controller.ini in the user documents path (documents\i68fifatools\i68Controller.ini) so that the program has to reinitialize from scratch.

    When i try to load the fifa 16 working folder,im getting index was out of range error
    please help me to fix this.

    The program does not recognize the path automatically? It should do it...
    Why not? The game installation is correct and complete?
    If yes, read the instructions in the post n.1 and try to initialize
    the path manually.

    Can't be done. The saves have a security checksum to prevent being tampered with. It's not totally impossible to change them but due to a checksum mismatch the game wouldn't read them. I believe one of the more experienced modders already mentioned this somewhere in the forums

    It is true, we can't update saves files. Discriminatory criterias are not clear yet but I'm pretty sure that we can do anything, but not modify tables lenght and indexing. I can not test because I have not had time to study the routines used by Rinaldo to save data. We certainly need to change something because, as mentioned, we have to not alter neither the length of the file, nor the size of the data contained in the tables.

    Nevertheless, contrary to what is often said here and there, we can modify the current db: most of the changes do not compromise the career in progress but are ignored. This is because the majority of the informations are copied in the database that is created, updated and saved with the progression of the game.

    Assume this scenario: the career mode is started and you want to change the initial formation (line up) for Inter who always forgets Icardi in the stands. Note that I make the following changes with i68Scripter commands, NOT with the Creation Master. I'm not sure about the results using the DBMaster, but I think good.
    We must swap the playerids for the two involved positions in the default_teamsheets table and the positionsid related to the players in the teamplayerlinks table. You could even set Icardi as Captain by changing the proper field in the default_teamsheets table.
    When starting the game and load our ongoing career, nothing bad happens. But Icardi is still on the bench!

    iard, do you have any idea how Rinaldo's tools sort the indices in the models? (for converting head models I mean)
