There are two flaws in the initialization that might cause problems
and I do not know if I will be able to replicate.

The .big files in fifa 16 should be 23. You might have a couple,
with size zero (or something else).
In case, they are the effect of a "wrong" tool (or patch) of large use
which I have not yet identified exactly.
I bypassed the obstacle with a series of checks and errors management,
but I can not follow the flow of the program so I cannot know
for sure what happens when they are there.

Second thing, the program doesn't find the local databases
(at least, the english standard one used for the first check):
every dbscript and a lot of operations will be disabled.

That said, I see that the program exits after identifying
the revolution mod: tonight I will try to re-check the "translation"
of the dates from that point forward.

Yes!
You can use the Merger with every ng db (Fifa12-16).

With some old db you can experiment errors
if the table's fields have changed and I still not provided the necessary countermeasures. In case, ask me and I will put in place just possible.

I got this error as well... I'm on Win10 x64. I found that if I do not acknowledge the error I can still use the program (at least the scrip to enable all callnames.). I successfully did so last night.

I don't think it's an issue with the loc files, because I have them in my installation folder and the error is still thrown. I'll check the .big files, but when you say '23', are you referring to a file size or is that the number of .big files that should be in the installation folder?

In that case, the message on the log is wrong... strange.
I'll check!

2) In FIfa16 we have 23 .big files (with associated .bh file), not 25.
This is a common "error" because of the tool I've already told,
but definitively not a problem if you don't experiment game issues!

3) Because I understand it does not happen every time,
you can help me figure out WHEN the dates problem occurs?

these imperfections and give you the opportunity to use the Merger
with the online database and the career mode!

I've just uploaded a version (2.2.0 [minor 29])
that could solve the issues above.



Local Database errors:
now, it's possible to execute db operations even
if the local database are not accessible.
Only the local db related operations (as team names scripts for ex.)
will be disabled.

I remind everyone that the local databases for fifa 16
can be downloaded here.

Date conversion errors:
I have found and corrected a statement (program line)
that could be the cause of the issue that some of you
have experienced, I think, when the Controller is updating
the news and patches... Let me know if I'm still wrong!

Merging online database tables:
Now, you can load online databases or career mode
ones with the Merger.
it's possible to update rosters by merging properly all the
insterested tables (dcplayernames, teamplayerlinks, formations,
teams, playerloans, manager, players, previousteam,
default_teamsheets, player_grudgelove)
It will be ready by Christmas (I hope) an appropriate tool
to automate this process.

Let me know if it works fine:
in such case, I will provide the automatic distribution
of this new version, directly with the Controller.

I tested the update you provided and got no error message. I went ahead and completed a scripting function by adding a kit. I had no issues. Thanks and great job!

Could someone please tell me in detail how the merger works!?

I have extracted the stadiums table with DB Master and changed the depth of some goalnets. But the merger is not highlighted as working when i open i68 Controller?

If the Merger is not enabled this mean that the i68Controller it is not
fully initialized (see the log). Maybe a problem of local databases on Windows10.

In case, read some posts above, download and install the last recent
update (not a public release, for now) with which we can workaround
this problem. In the same post you fill find a link to download fifa16 local databases too.

After this, simply open the Merger, load your table and
execute the operation in changeonly mode.

I used the controller, but now i want to undo what i did, dont mind starting from 0%

is there anyway to do this?

I tried initiating the bug fifa has about reset accomplishments but this cheat is just 2 strong ^^

If you mean you have saved some changements to your db
and now you want to restore the old one...
well, it's possible, yes,
if you have done a backup with the dedicated function.
If not... you can try to reinstall the original one and regenerate.

If you have installed a modded accomplishments.ini
simply delete it and regenerate.

Obvious, you must load your game files only when you
have restored all as before.

I did dude, its not working.

I delete the accomplishment.ini and ran regenerator, played 1 game, and still got 100% accomplishment

I've been trying everything, just can get back to 0%

So I think, your "enhancements" are saved online,
in your EA profile.

If so, nothing to do. You have to restart with a new account.

I tried merging the latest EA squad updates with my current db and it crashed. Not sure if I did it right. At first I just used ADD only mode, but I didn't see some of the newest changes in the squad update. Then I tried with ADD & OVERWRITE and that's when I got a crash when selecting teams. It's kinda difficult without a visual aid to see exactly what's being changed/overwritten/added.

Records added/changed are listed in the log file
but I agree that it is not easy to find errors
when there are a lot of data.

In theory, the program can not go wrong:
if it works with normal tables (and it works),
should also work with those online.
The problem may come from the player names added that,
in the files online, are saved in 'dcplayernames' instead of 'playernames'.

I have to do more tests, but I have no time now.
I'm too busy with the rehearsals of the Christmas choir that I direct

is my other hobby!
