Just played a few hours of PES 2008 xbox360, the gameplay is WAY better then fifa 08.

I've been a FIFA person since 98, but I can't believe how good this game is.

I can finally play the way I want to without FIFA's gameplay holding me back

I've been playing FIFA 08 on Legendary level and winning games, but my hands get really sore from the constant defending and tireless attacking plays. In PES I don't have this problem. The player does what I want him to do, the passing is so much crisper. On the break I can get down the field at lightning speed with pacey players...

Glad you finally saw which game had the better and MORE REALISTIC Gameplay mate!

About the crosses, man I love them! The ball has such a realistic curve to it when it is crossed!

man, I also love EVERY part of this game. Can't wait until i receive the full version in a few days! hehe!

I very much doubt you are winning games on legendary in fifa, please. You probably never played it! Secondly, you say you have been a fifa fan since 98???? My man, everyone knows fifa has gone downhill since 98! Quite the opposite. You had bad taste playing fifa since 98 so you endorsing PES 2008 is not credible! I was a PES fan after 98! just got back into fifa on next gen. Of course you can go down the wing at lightning speed, heck you can take the ball end to end and score with most fast players. It's what I call arcady and PES is very arcady. PES has taken steps backwards. It's becoming what many PES fanboys hated about fifa. Being Arcady and too fast and not having to think much. Funny, that's what they always complained about. Also, have you played the last 3 versions of PES? Oh, never mind. You were playing fifa. If you had you can compare to PES 2008 and know that the game isn't evolving anytime soon, it's degrading.

I very much doubt you have a clue. Just for the record, I am actually winning games on legendary (like I just said) and it's very difficult. I'm winning about 65-70% of my games on legendary.

Umm I never compared FIFA 98 to anything, I merely indicated that I've been a FIFA player since 1998 and of course the game has got better.

I've played PES 2006 and 2007. 2007 I liked very much, except for the graphics.

I will always go back to FIFA, not for it's gameplay though

its called thinking faster than your opponent, calculating passes and strategizing. its not for everyone i admit. i just learned how to pull off succesful through passes and its great. i am growing with the game. Tip: put passing, shooting on manual.

i'm with you mate you have to grow with the game and play on manual.......

sorry but it is a much better game than pes in every way......

and it's only going to get better......;)

i would have flamed you a month ago and wondered what you were on about, but it's true. FIFA 08 holds you back and the players' don't respond well enough or convert chances that should go in. goalkeepers are too good at saving the best shots and no good at rebounds or getting up or saving crap shots in general. it's never a fair game online for me cause i create the best chances and lose 2-0 to two bullsh!t goals.

in PES, if i create a great chance, i score a great goal. in fifa 08 i'm just countered by an exploit and end up losing to some idiot.

i hate fifa this year, i loved 07.

and no guys it's not a big problem for waiting to score goals online in fifa 08 cause the exploiters know plenty of ways to score past the f*cking dumb defenders and goalkeeper. the problem is when two players' who play fair try and have a good game that'll end in 0-0.

the game is f*cking backwards, i hate it. can't stand online no more and it's cus people think u suck just cus u play right, im not here to cheat a goal or get lucky, im here to play football and win at playing football....something pes does well.



you're never 100% in control of ure team in fifa, anyone who says they are, are stupid, end of. they're not cause it's impossible to be, i've tested this game through and through, and it's not possible. in fact it's easier to score a crap goal than it is to score a good one and that is what makes this game so damn rubbish.

Well i havent seen any of thease prob's that you all talk about......

all i can say is if your trying to play this like the old fifa's your going to get creamed, you have to think more and PASS THE BALL LOADS, find a space then you CAN score some GREAT GOALS...........

I LOVE THIS GAME..........

if i can drop in to say my opinion, its this :

FIFA feels too mechanical, not smooth and detached while PES feels natural, fluid and the player control and physics are unmatched

Untill FIFA changes to the point that it can give the feeling that PES does in gameplay, m sticking with PES

Constant defending and tireless attacking plays.....I hate to break it to ya but that is real football.

Fifa = Real passing football :lui:

P.S. Im not saying PES is Crap..... Just that Fifa 08 (360) seems more like real football..... And that's what i've been looking for.(Y)
