Indoor Soccer Gaming Patch for FIFA 2006

Wait...invisible walls are unlockable now?!?

After i spent about a year trying to create working walls in FIFA 05, now they're pre-programmed in FIFA 06? Damn, too bad i've converted to PES, or else i'd give it another go this season. I still play my indoor patch of FIFA 05 every so often, but it needs walls =/

I might actually consider buying FIFA 06 if someone can verify that the walls are available in the code, and movable. Is there a ceiling too?

As for formations, if things are the same as in FIFA 05, you can edit the locations of players in general in the .kpr files, which i think are in one of the zdataXX.big files, but i don't really remember. Sorry i can't be any more help.

Oh, and by the way, Cforce, if you are going to re-state word for word everything i said in a previous post, at least quote me. You make it look like all that stuff in the first post of this thread is your own...

No problem, that's editable, lol...I'll just change it to"Psyatika says", but anyways, welcome back & yes, feel free to get back involved in this patch work, & feel free to work with the others working to make this really cool indoor soccer gaming patch...

If the Invisible walls are unlockable, then you only need to ask a stadium maker to make a hall or something (without crowds just a normal hall that can hold a full sized footbie pitch

Likely an astroturf indoor soccer field(like the walls around an indoor soccer rink)...

Alright, can anyone verify for me that the walls are unlockable and movable? I don't want to buy the game and then find out that it's still not doable.

It's an easy task really. Someone who already owns the game, verify for me that the walls exist, and are movable. I can't actually find anything about it online (nothing mentioned on cheat code websites for example).

At the very least someone verify that they exist. Then i can probably figure out how to move them myself if/when i buy the game.

Have patience, someone will probably respond...it seems that alot of people are already busy working on it currently...Brimboo is the one leading up the work effort for this patch, you could send him a PM if you'd like.

I thought it was unlockable...if it isn't a pre-installed code, then it's probably (once again) not doable. I might just get the Champions League game instead just to see the code.

I would love to help....but:
1) All my kits are currently scrambled on my old hard drive. :kader:
2) 04/05 kits need to be converted to 06 format, which I just saw moments ago. I have no clue how that's done right now.
3) I haven't picked up 06 yet....maybe be Xmas?

Alright, i doubt there are invisible walls enabled in FIFA 06, so i'm not going to bother buying the game, since the only reason i would buy it would be to work on the indoor patch. I just bought a copy of CL tho :)

Alright, let's discuss this a little further...instead of working on just an indoor soccer patch for FIFA 2006, let's also consider working on a patch for UEFA Champions League 2004-05. Before we figure Champions League into the patch work mix...who would be interested in being the leader for the making of these indoor soccer patches???

P.S. I'm just trying to push for the making of these patches, though I wouldn't mind testing the patch work.

My copy of CL 04-05 hasn't arrived yet, but i reckon it would be a relatively easy task to take the existing walls and move them in. The only task i'm not sure about would be changing the goal size (i mean, it's easy graphically, but i don't know how easy it is to tell the game to only count a goal if the balls goes within a certain range, and to bounce back otherwise).

I guess i'll find out when it arrives. Should be today or early next week.

I'll be ordering mine(Champions League 2004-05) at the beginning of the new year...

Concerning that version, since the invisible walls are within the game, I guess all there needs to be there is visible to see walls...

Also 7 vs. 7 is also available there, too, I guess that's no problem either.

The graphics would be easy, and to be honest, i don't even concern myself with them, as really anyone with a decent enough ability to use a computer can make walls, move the pitch lines, and do graphics stuff. You can make something look like a wall in the game, but it's an entirely different thing to make the ball actually bounce off of that wall (otherwise it will just go right through).

I don't know yet if the walls move along with the pitch if you tell the game to shorten the pitch. I'm also not sure if it is possible to change the size of the goal (again, i know it's easy to make it LOOK smaller, but that doesn't matter if you don't tell the game that the goal is smaller. Otherwise you'll see shots go wide, and the game will count them as goals).

I guess i'll know when i receive my game, which might be today. Shipping is supposed to be 4-10 business days, and now it's been about 8. I live in a major city, so i would expect the shipping to be closer to 4 days than 10.

lmfoust, just go to this thread here@ http://www.soccergaming.tv/showthread.php?t=96814

...I'm sure the guy you're looking for is there, I think it is"Celt", but you can read through that & refresh yourself on that part.

For all those interested in working with this indoor soccer gaming patches, remember that"UEFA Champions League 2004-05" is the main game we're using for the patch work, so for all those that don't have that game, try & order that game online when you have the chance to do so.

Is there no work being done on this anymore, seems like you guys have given up on this patch..."where there's a will, there's a way", try not giving up, remember, all I can do is give helpful ideas. Do you see me giving up? No!
