For every 4 yellow cards you get in the Serie A, you get a suspension for one league game.
If during a match, you make a tough foul, and the opponent player gets an injury after your foul, then no matter you get a yellow or a red card from the referee, a commission for discipline will judge if the player that made the foul will be suspended or not and for how long.
If you get 2 yellow cards in two different consecutive matches, you are also suspended for the next Serie A match.

Cambiasso, Zanetti, and especially Muntari were beasts in the midfield, hounding every player, and consistently winning the ball back with ease ...
Zlatan's knockdown got him another assist, and his ball retention in the second half played a big part in securing the win ...
Adriano may have got on the scoresheet -- in real time it looked like it came off his midriff or thigh, but there is obviously no doubt on the replays that it came off his hand -- but he left his shooting boots at home: first Kaladze's gaffe let him in 1v1, but he shot wide; then he took Maldini to the cleaners before firing straight at Abbiati instead of into the far corner of the net ... if he had put away those two chances, the scoreline would deem it necessary to talk about the gulf in performance of the two sides, and there would not need to be much discussion about the significance of the controversial goal ... plus, being up by 4 goals at that stage would have buried any possible resurgence from Milan ...
for Milan, Pato was by far their most proactive player, and Ronaldinho burst into life in the second half ... they pushed hard to come back from 2-0, and it took a superb through ball from Ronnie to find a way through the Inter defence ... at 2-1, Inter remained disciplined, and Julio Cesar was rock solid ...
a great win for the JM, the players, and the club ... one step closer to the Scudetto, and a great warm-up for the Champions League tests ahead ...
